That's quite a comprehensive upgrade for the already capable Swift's OEM speakers.

Can you share the cost and more details, along with pics?

Cheers,

Achyuth
Yes Achyuth really vocals based setup. Unfortunately I did not click any pics of the install. The total cost came up to 28K. Will post the scanned bill.
Retaining stock HU means limited options for tuning. Taking back to the installer for next round of tuning.

Re: My new Maruti Swift Zxi

Babe completed one year today.
Took for the 3rd free service to Mandovi.

Bill was Rs 0

Total Kms done in first year : 6100

Renewed the insurance again with TATA-AIG.
Renewal cost was 15k (no NCB as I had made a claim for the door damage).

There a few minor but deep scratches on the front bumper. MAAS said they do not have the exact touch up paint which was really strange to me.

Any advice from fellow bhpians on where I can get this done?

Detailing

Detailing with UPGP

It is 3 months since the last detailing session with UPGP.
Decided to skip gym and spend cardio time with the car :-).
Here are the results:

15k update

Car completed 15,000 km with a 1600km BLR-TVM trip.
Got wheel alignment done from New Bharat Tyres in TVM.
She continues to drive like a dream
She has had her both front and back viper blades replaced from RNS Yeshwantpur during her first paid service.

The front bumper of the car has accumulated some scratches over the last year. Planning to get spot painting done from RNS. They have quoted 1500 for the same.

She keeps crunching miles

Did a 1200 km road trip to Gokarna over the weekend.
Roads ranged from pristine (NH4) to untarred (SH6) to rocks (Near the resort at Kudle beach) and the car took on all roads with poise.

Some pictures from the trip.

20K update

The Car completed 20K Service. Serviced at Mandovi Hennur.
Total bill came to 4469.

Detailed Bill:

Car still feels new. No rattles or troubles of any sort! (Touch wood).

20K was marked by first puncture of RHS front tyre. The YOKOs are really holding up nicely

30k update

Hassle-free 30k ownership.
Babe turned over 30k clock and got a service at Viswas Kalyan Nagar
Very positive service experience.
Bill for 30k service was 1688 .
I had already done oil change and tyre balancing outside.

The front bumper has accumulated a lot of small scratches in 4+ years .
Any advice on whether to repaint or replace?
I was told by viswas guys to repaint as the new ones for swift comes only in black and they will anyway repaint.

If the bumper is only scratched and no minor/major dents etc are there then get it repaired again.

FYI, the New bumper costs around ₹ 1500 (Part No.: 71711M74L00).

What's the final quote you have been given for repainting of the existing bumper and if bumper is replaced then what's the final cost?

Thanks Anurag. Due to severe lack of time, haven't been able to spend time on this project. Hoping to pick it up sometime in December.

Re: My new Maruti Swift Zxi

Car completed 37k.
Used service of wheels wisdom for service.
Was completely not satisfied with the services of wheels wisdom.
Escalated to Sandeep Menon who completely refunded the cost of service.
I was very happy with this resolution as it is very rare to have companies who take customer concerns seriously.

Planning to upgrade the HU to one from new Swift with bluetooth support.
Has anyone tried this already? Any advise?

Re: My new Maruti Swift Zxi

37K and still going strong. Congratulations. Now that's a very well maintained Swift Petrol. I own its younger sibling the VXI in red and the daily mundane drive to the job is made exciting by this very petrol machine with its awesome handling and torque, not to mention the great mileage which it returns.
