re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

The performance has got little more better after driving few hundred kms. The car has almost nil lag, it pulled on an uphill with 4 people from 1000 rpm in 3rd gear.

1500 to 3500 rpm zone is just brutal, smash the pedal and the car just shoots. Nobody could imagine it's an 1.3 under the hood.

Rajiv has increased the top end more than he what usually does. I was not paying attention and the car revved to 5500 rpm in 2nd gear, there was no drop in performance, it just pulled. For best performance / timing, shift at 4500 rpm in every gear .

Just to give an idea of how quick the car is :

0-100, 1/4 th mile, top speed are all better than a stock S-Cross 1.6 hahaha!!

re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

The car should be taken to Maruti service soon :

I was doing 0-100 runs and noticed that car was 2 seconds slower. The clutch was slipping. This is a video taken in 3rd gear, notice the sudden rise in RPM from 2k to 3k.

The lower gear synchronizer rings should be also changed as there is difficulty in slotting into 2nd gear. I would also get the service done.

Following jobs would be done :

1. Engine oil change (Motul Xcess 5W40)
2. Liqui Moy engine oil flush
3. Liqui Moly Ceratec
4. Brake fluid & Coolant change
5. New Clutch assembly
6. New lower gear synchronizer rings

Planning to keep the car at Maruti for a day. Can't wait to fully enjoy the Wolf Moto performance .

I had taken the car out late night. It was raining heavily. Headlights were badly affected by moisture, one of the major drawback of opening up headlights and installing after market projectors . It won't be possible to achieve factory level perfect sealing by after market guys.

Ouch. I encountered the same issue in my Baleno yesterday.

The funny part is the moisture content inside the headlamps are directly proportional to the distance

In my case, until yesterday night there was moisture only near the indicator portion. But, after I drove to office today, it has extended till the headlight bulbs

I believe your headlights are stock and not tampered. There are many such cases reported in Brezza and Baleno. Maruti has replaced them under warranty .

I can't claim warranty as the headlamps have been opened up and smoked

How was it resealed? Did you use butyl sealant?

re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

I noticed that clutch was slipping very little today. It was much better. Clutch slipping is present after rains / driving through water. Anyways I should change the clutch soon. I had got Dragy GPS Performance Meter and timed 0-100.

It was very impressive at 10.79 seconds, even with little slipping of clutch. This is the fastest timing for 1.3 MJD documented online in India . It would be definitely better after I change the clutch, thank you Rajiv and Wolf Moto!

I drove around 100 km today, quick drive to Marvante beach.

re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

I had given the car to Maruti service centre yesterday for replacing clutch assembly, lower gear synchronizer rings, gear oil change. Approximate bill would be around 12k.

The job was completed today as they were too busy yesterday. SA called me and said there is some abnormal sound from engine. They are suspecting timing chain. I have instructed them to inspect it and fix whatever is necessary. Hoping to get the car back tomorrow.

Meanwhile I had ordered all filters from Boodmo and they are in transit

Got these from Amazon : Motul Xcess 5W40, Liqui moly engine flush and Liqui Moly Ceratec

Planning to change all filters along with the above items next week!

I'm not sure if the installer used Butyl sealant. But the glue that they used was transparent and they have applied couple of layers too!

re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

I was out of station and dad had collected the car few days back.

Lower gear synchronizer rings, Clutch assembly, Gear oil : Rs. 11,891

The gear shifts are lot smoother now. Clutch pedal is also lighter. All the issues have been resolved.

SA also observed abnormal sound from timing chain. I am happy that service guys got it into my notice. Timing chain and all the supporting components were replaced. I was little surprised with the labour amount, it was slightly more than 4k. Labour amount was more than parts here .

Total cost : Rs. 20,556

Glove box lock was broken. Leoshashi gave me the part number and boodmo link. It was just 48 bucks . Very impressed with Boodmo, they delivered it within a week.

Air filter, Fuel filter and Oil filter have also been delivered. Ordered from Boodmo again!

Planning to do the general service soon. I had already ordered filters from Boodmo, or else I could have finished the service also along with repairs. The car feels lot better to drive now. No more irritating sound at idle, 2nd gear slotting issues. Hope the synchronizer rings don't give up easily this time!

re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

2. Liqui Moly Gear oil additive X 2 : Rs 758 (Yes, it was a steal.. Thanks to Amazon Prime day sale)

My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi | Remapped by Wolf Moto | EDIT: Sold at the 12-year mark-img_20180727_182222.jpg

Initial impressions are good. Engine is very smooth, thanks to Engine flush + Motul X Cess + Ceratec. I have spent more than 30k in last few days for repairs / service. This car had seen most of repairs / replacements, but the major things like turbo, steering column, gearbox were all replaced under warranty. Hoping for a trouble free ownership from now.

re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

I got to time my car again. I was waiting for new clutch and the service to be done. As expected, I got good improvement in 0-100 timing. My SX4 with Wolf Moto Remap (with zero hardware mods) did 0-100 in 10.35 seconds. Yes, it's the fastest timing for any car with 1.3 MJD documented online in India .

Quarter Mile timing was also very impressive at 17.19 seconds. Just to give an idea about how fast the car is, Abarth Punto does the same in 16.8 seconds!!
My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi | Remapped by Wolf Moto | EDIT: Sold at the 12-year mark-img_20180728_003111.jpg
SX4 1.3 MJD has an average quality turbo from TEL. It can't handle very high EGT's. As per Wolf, it's not possible to push the car more on stock turbo. I am planning to experiment with turbo from S-Cross 1.6. Few guys in Europe have already done this, I don't believe it would be plug and play though.

Have driven 150 km after adding this and the gear shifts are very smooth. It is so goooooooood! I did not notice much difference immediately, but it definitely works after driving few kms. Wish I tried this product earlier.

re: My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi - Remapped by Wolf Moto, EDIT: 10+ years & 1.3 lakh km done

I am really happy with the performance of new Wolf map. Rajiv has given maximum possible power for 1.3 MJD and clearly warned me that Turbo would be at risk if I do WOT for long duration at high speeds. I try to take care of that aspect most of the times. But, today I pushed the car really hard and ended up getting CEL. The error was related to turbo boost.
My 2011 Maruti SX4 ZDi | Remapped by Wolf Moto | EDIT: Sold at the 12-year mark-img_20180723_162927.jpg
I have faced this CEL only once till now. The car ran perfectly fine after I restarted the engine. Rajiv has suggested to go little down on boost and he will give an updated map.
