Sure!
TEL service centre is located on ponda belgaum bypass. The contact person there is Simon. You have to remove the turbo and give him for repairs etc.
For critical repairs i go to MASS Verna Sai service and my go to person there is laxman.
For minor repairs i go to Suraj who is ex mass and is based in Vasco just before the airport.
You could pm me and il share you my contact number and other contact numbers.
TEL service centre is easily located via Google maps.
Sai service Verna you must be already aware of.

Need your advice guys,

I have a 2011 Sx4 Zdi done 1.76L. Love the car even though I have other newer cars in the stable. However the Sx4 has been drinking oil for the past month. Gave the SX4 for service today at the a.s.s.

A.s.s. says the turbo is leaking oil. Only solution as per them is a new turbo. Costs 40k.

My Query-
- Who manufacturers the turbo? TEL/ Garett/ Honeywell?

- Can the turbo be repaired from TEL? If yes, where in & around Mumbai?

- If it can't be repaired, does TEL sell a new turbo?

I plan to keep this car for quite some time.

TEL is the turbo maker for this car.
Turbo can be repaired at TEL authorised centre address of which you can get in Google.
If not send the turbo to goa and il get it done here at TEL centre.
New one from TEL direct is 26-30k.
Even kahlon motors sells this turbos you can search them online.They had new turbo available a few days back

Update:- Got a new turbo yesterday from TEL, from their authorized distributer - Shriyan Motors. The distributor is located in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai.

The car was hardly used this year. I sold it yesterday after 12 years / 1.35 lakh km.

Naren, since you have sold the sx4 let me continue adding up to this thread with my sx4, hopefully it will serve as guide to those looking up the sx4 ddis.

I am also to report that i have completed 177556 kms on my ddis.It is going strong with nil issues whatsoever, this is my daily drive covering 120-130 kms daily, average hovers around 22-23kmpl.

Key notes:
Very religiously serviced at dot 7500kms using motul oil, last oil change was with mobil fully synthetic and i am happy to say it has been a good one.
I also change the air filter, fuel filter, oil filter every 7500kms.
Gearbox oil change is every 40k kms.

Everything is done at periodically and the car so far hasn't disappointed one bit.Have changed all four speakers to components along with a four channel amp and a android unit.
I plan to keep the car till as long as i can.

Update!
Added a bottle of CERATEC after removing 300ml of oil using a ryles tube and a 50ml syringe.
Kept it on idle for about 10mins and could feel it get quieter.
Today will be doing a run of about 140kms so should be able to determine the effects of CERATEC.

Fingers crossed.

Impressions after running for 165kms.
Engine Vibration: Little less.
Smoothness: Yes increased.
Smoke: Surprisingly not able to see any smoke on hard acceleration.
Pick up: A little increase yes.
Overall quieter engine: Yes
lifter noise: Reduced

I think the ceratec increases viscosity of the oil.
Lets hope to see further results as time goes by.

Update: After running ceratec for 7800kms.
Frankly I didn't like it. The engine just felt different,it wasn't as free running as before after adding ceratec,at one point i just wanted to drain the oil and replace it with fresh oil.
After being in hospital for some lung issues i finally managed to get the oil replaced yesterday at fng.
Did the usual engine flush using stp,and used 5w40 petronas 9000 oil.
Added liquid moly additive as well.
In my opinion this combo works best for ddis engines.
Engine Flush--- liqui moly/stp.
2.9 litres engine oil---- motul excess/petronas.
200ml engine oil additive--- liqui moly.

Engine runs super free and is a charm to drive.
Petronas oil is good. Loved the smoothness it gives.
