I know. :Frustrati
Need to correct the mounting position. Have mounted it the wrong way. Was too excited I guess during the DIY that I didn't realise the error. stupid:

I did not understand. How are you going to rectify flipped image by
correcting the mounting position? I do not have any knowledge here, but I think there would be some settings to correct it?
Hi, is there any way to make the AVN play videos while driving? As of now videos play only with the parking brake on. Is there a way to by-pass this setting?

Yes buddy. It is available. Came across a post on FB by "Better Deals", an accessory seller based in Delhi.
PS: I have no experience with this accessory. No commercial connection with the seller whatsoever.

Contacted DDPai support team and sent them the images plus settings screenshots.
Got a reply asking me to reset the camera and update the firmware again to sort the issue.

Good to hear that. So it was a software glitch and nothing to do with mounting position :thumbs up

If you see in the screenshots I posted, in the settings screenshot, there is an option (Flip image left/right). Even after I tried it, the orientation was flipped. Hence I was thinking it to be wrong mounting but thanks to Support team @ DDPai, it was known as a software issue in that firmware. After a new update, things are as expected.

Glad it's resolved Anurag.
Few questions though -
what is that remote for ?
Does it support GPS ?
What about night / low light footage ?
How long does the onboard battery last ?
What about audio recording ?

That's for capturing images on-the-go. :D

No GPS.

Nothing great but decent enough. A sample video shot today while returning home from work.
DDPai Mini - Night time footage
In 1080P mode, 16G cards can record about 4 hours, 32G cards can record about 8 hours. After the card is full, the camera will automatically over-write the files. Maximum compatible memory card is 32GB. Currently on a Class 10, 16 GB card. Currently using cam on 720p setting.

Since I have connected the dashcam to a fuse that powers only when in ACC mode, it switches off within 3 seconds of powering off the car.

Decent enough.
Here's a comparison video of Viofo A119S V2 and DDPai Mini. Top one is the Viofo whereas the bottom one is DDPai Mini.

First damage to the car, thanks to my carelessness. :Frustrati
Since this was at noon, glare from the sun was making the rear camera display useless plus had a song playing that dominated the reverse sensor beeps.
It was a nudge to a bike parked behind at 3-4 kmph hence damage isn't high. Left it like that for time being.
No damages to the bike whatsoever. :)

Thanks Anurag. Looks decent and adds to the small device factor.
How about emergency footage saving ? Does not store any extreme G Force event footage in any specific folder.
Use case might be of a situation where the critical footage should not be overwritten from storage of evidence perspective.
How did you manage to upgrade the firmware ? In my dashcams, I need to take the devices off the car and plug them into laptop, turn on the software and get updates if any.
Does this support same process or uses WiFi capability to do flash update ?

Yet to check on this. There are settings related to G-sensor sensitivity.

Guess you missed the images that I uploaded regarding the firmware update. Adding that image below for easy reference.
It happens through the App via WiFi. Don't need to take the dashcam anywhere. :)

Ouch, that hurts on a new vehicle! I got two such smudges a couple of weeks ago on my Fiesta. As the colour is dark red, they were glaringly visible.
On the suggestion of bhpian, I sprayed WD40 and wiped the area with a soft cloth, and lo behold, 85% of them are gone! One has to look hard to spot them now.

Thank you sir for the suggestion. Let me try and report back. :)
Fortunately the dent is very minimal.
