Car is promised to be delivered on Monday 09 April

Maruti has been quite good wrt customer relation management, right from the day i posted query on their site (before launch) till today, when they called me to understand why i chose on this particular car.

They have been replying me via email as well as through phone calls, and said they will follow up once i get delivery of the car.

Dealership was quite helpful in assisting me to get a priority release, yeah contact at the highest level helped alot. Though need to see how the experience is going to be for the delivery as well as A>S>S. No major free b's, regular mudflap, mat etc, trying to see if i can choose an additional horn instead of some of these stuff.

Will be updating with delivery experience and initial driving impression after monday i guess

They sold the car allotted to me to someone else. Bloody idiots. Very unprofessional in their working. But for that they have given me a loaner car - an esteem which im having real good fun with.

Some bull**** about not recieving the payment on time from the bank. But either ways I have an esteem to play with courtesy the showroom. I've been driving it for more than a week...haha beginning to like it.

been going through some alloy options and very honestly i didn like any of those well am an absolute no bling guy)
saw a white one with plated lip by plati which came close, and saw a white swift with full white rims, but couldn locate the same in shop (yet), tomorrow am doing final rounds of shops and then decide if i really want to shelve out more or stick to my plan b of reg rims with wider tyres.

if so which will be better option 185/70 or 195/70 (am ignoring the circum diff of 195/70 from stock), checked UK site and it seems there its 185's so is 185 the perfect width or should i go for 195?

again bangalore boys/gals what are the best options for 195/70/14 or 185/70/14 in bangalore and do Yoko's come in these sizes? i doubt..

will update of i get lucky in my window shoppin tomorrow

@drifter: hope u delivered ur baby, congratz!!

cheers

sorry.. this made me crack up.
But on a serious note, i think you should get 195/60R14 or 195/65R14. I don't think there are tyre companies that make 195/70R14.
Cheers

there are 195/70/14 available

and 195/60/14 is wrong upsize coz it is more than 3% variation from 165/80 or 185/70

They'l be put up in a few days...right now im getting used to the size and the frustration of keeping the rpm limited for the running in.
