First Mishap-
today i had gone out and my driver went and parked the car. in this building the cars were parked on a little incline and there was a chevy uva parked behind my car. the cleaner was cleaning the car and then decided he wanted to move it. the only problem was, he didnt know how to drive properly, so instead so reversing up on the incline his car came straight down and bang into the back on my car. it left a 1 foot dent in the bumper, luckily my car was pretty close so the uva couldnt pick up much speed while rolling down.

i got pissed, but what could i do?? take a few hundred from a cleaner? nope. he was apologizing profusely anyway so i just decided to let it be. anyway my driver knows some person who does denting work and the dent on my car hadnt lost paint so i knew it wouldnt be a big job. so i sent my driver to his denting chap and he just took off the bumper, pushed the dent out, touched it up with a brush and polished it. now it looks like nothing happened. lucky me!

that's a nice gesture. but most people are interested in arguing. i was once rear ended by a driver with lady owner in the back. the driver being a driver immediately started arguing. the lady came out, apologized and offered money for my bumper repair. I didn't accept that. she asked 'are you sure'. yes and we both carried on.

Akshay, she looks like a beauty. I don't know why you want to change the alloys. I love that design from all the other Accord designs.

I see quite a few swirl marks. Please get the car detailed or DIY if you have the stuff.

She needs a 3M treatment done for the body + a nice coat of wax afterwards Alloys me likes, unless you want some gangsta stuff. Get that ding on the rear wheel arch done also.

i want to upsize to 17 inch alloys. i like those rims too but this type of v6 is reasonably common and i like my cars to be unique. i dont like stock. anyway tomorrow i am going to the tyre shop and taking pics of the alloys and you guys can give me your opinions on them.

yes sir i intend on getting the body nicely detailed. its not possible to do only the wheel arch. when i went to honda they showed me a huge portion which would have to be re-done because there is some material behind the metal. it would add up to quite a bit and the dent is not really noticeable so im going to let it pass for now.

not really looking for gangsta rims but just something to differentiate my car from all the others.

Akshay check the denting with a competent body shop guy, they might be able to help you out better, since the dent is above the flat wheel arch, should be accessible from the boot or if you remove the rear seat back rest area. Honda would recommend stripping and replacing the whole piece which i think can be avoided.

You could also give dry denting a shot and see how that works out.
The car looks beautiful! Hope to see it around town soon.

thanks. any idea where dry denting is done? hey, you might have already seen the car around town, except it dosent have anything to differentiate it from any other v6. but that will change soon.
