Evo if you plan to use it from the back seat mainly (implying a driver at all times to deal with any situation) then keep the elantra. If you intend to drive it youselves would suggest you sell and move on for a more peaceful experience considering the history.

Ya, its a backseat car only. Has been since its engine rebuild. I`m still undecided as the back seat is unbeatable amongst anything above or below in it till the Superb. Only thing that rivals it is the Sonata Transform.
