@shk sorry for being out of the Forum for long. was stuck with family issues. Mine finished first year and going strong at 17k on the odo.

Late update
First of all ,I am apologizing for not updating regularly.
Sandy crunched 39,900kms upto date.Some glitches are present.
There is a foul smell from Aircon.This smell is prominent in all fan speeds.
The second problem is poor paint job done by the workshop.The Rear Left door was dented and was repainted from Popular Motors but now it cannot match the original paint quality and reflects irregularly.There is also some paint drops at a corner.Please suggest what can be done.

Ritzy covered 40,000 Kms last week andf drove almost 600 Kms after service.But the 40k service costed a highish 8.5k rupees.But everything is working flawlessly.There are no rattles,Steering became lighter,no foul smell from Aircon.Also tires are to be changed .Please suggest the best tire upgrade in 14''.The tire options are Yokohama A Drives ,Michelin XM1+ or MRF ZLO.

Before commenting on the service costs, please outline what all work was performed (and the charges for each component). It could be that the 40K service is a major one, and the charges are justified. That said, some Maruti service stations are known to fleece customers. My bhabhi's Maruti 800 cost 5,000 bucks a service (even the minor ones) until I stepped in.

Thanks Sourov,the works done are mainly according to the service manual .The Aircon vent cleaning and engine decarbonising was done as per my dad instructed.The engine is now a lot more smoother than before.

I don't see anything extraordinary with your 40K bill, except for the thousand bucks spent unnecessarily on engine decarb. A lot more work than a basic service has been performed on the Ritz.

When ever i goto MASS they always suggest me engine decarb. My car is a petrol ritz with 21k kms. Till now i have avoided their advice. When is it actually needed as i follow the car manual for servicing regularly.

Thanks avinash fir the complements.The ritz is still very fresh and there are no signs of age apart from a few scratches and swirls.The engine still feels fresh and also inspires confidence.I have planned to get her an ID-TBHP Sticker.
