Any aftermarket replacement for Baleno tail lights??

Are there any after-market replacement tail-lights for the Baleno? I did some "google" research and searched far and wide.. but couldnt find any..

Those OE tail-lights are the yuckiest on the whole planet and those are the only reason stopping me from buying a used Baleno.

We are working on something for all the Balenos we have running around in BLR. Hopefully something in a month!

That would be great, v1p3r. :-)
Just so that we have an answer to the one-and-only issue with the Baleno - rear ugliness.

You can use the tailights from the 2006 Baleno. It has clear lens for the turnsignals.

Looks a little better than the old ones.

Baleno Tail light with clear lens anyone?

Apologies for reopening the age old discussion of 'How to improve the Baleno's Rear End', which we have all beaten to death!

I was chatting with my younger bro, who now uses the Baleno, and he really wanted to get tail lamps with clear lens. He got the inspiration from the following picture, which was posted by Rahul (mclaren1885) in another thread.

Any aftermarket replacement for Baleno tail lights??-97559.jpg

So after a few hours on the net and few emails and phone calls, I was able to get hold of an accessories store in Taiwan (CAR FULL ENTERPRISE CO., LTD - CENS.com - China Economic News Service - Global Export Media). I asked them if they have the following model in stock.

Any aftermarket replacement for Baleno tail lights??-baleno-lights-1.jpg

They said they do, but they will ship to India only if I have a minimum order of 10 sets. They are quoting $25 per set (exclusive of shipping). Now I don't need 10 sets. I am thinking of getting 2 sets for myself (in case my brother decides to get rear-ended). If anyone else from TBhp is interested, I can order 10 sets. If not, I will ask my buddy from Taiwan to pick up 2 sets for me and ship it across to my bro. If anyone's interested, please PM me. Cheers!!

Wow, they do look great!
Amazing how just converting them to clear lenses can improve the looks so much.
I am sure you'd find loads of baleno owners on this forum willing to shell out the moolah if they could improve the looks of their cars.

Good luck.

First off, if that is the final product and if its in fact really clear lens, I am game for a set.

How many can your Friend ship down?
Customs $? + Shipping $? = Rs?

Binz, Thanks for pinging me.
