I might be wrong here, but aren't the rear lamps in the pic (clear indicator lens) same as the one that came in the last batch of Balenos ? If yes, they should be available in India itself, right ? Then why import them ? Or am I missing something here ?

@narayan, can see where you are coming from. But unfortunately, the $25 does not cover what you see draped on the Baleno bumper.

Apologies

I am really sorry if I got everyone's hopes up high. I confirmed 10 sets with the so called "dealers" and it was then that they said that they do not have stock of this stuff. I asked them if it was possible to source the tail lights from elsewhere and they told me that if I had a minimum of 300 orders, then they would be able to do a special production run for me!!! I haven't ask them to bugger off yet, but I don't think these guys are reliable. I am now trying to contact some other dealers, but even my hopes have gone down the drain. But if I do get any leads, I will keep everyone posted.

The last of Balenos didn't have clear lights. It had white indicators instead of the usually yellow/orange, but the glass still wasn't the clear type. This is the reason I am running from pillar to post to get them imported.

Latest Updates

Hi guys,

Here is the latest updates. I got in touch with another dealer named J. Tec International Co. (J. TEC INTERNATIONAL CORP. | CENS.com | Supplier Site).

They have the lights in stock and are willing to ship it to India.
This is the picture of the product that they emailed me.

Any aftermarket replacement for Baleno tail lights??-suzuki-baleno-taillight-clear-red.jpg

The charges quoted by them are:

10 Sets x US$30 = US$300
extra handling charge for the export customs = US$100

So it is going to cost $40 + shipping. I had a medium size parcel shipped from Taiwan to Vancouver for around $25. So the maximum for shipping to India for all the 10 sets should be no more than $50.

So the final rate per set is coming up to $45.

The guys who expressed interest earlier - I have PMed you.
Ironwolf - Your inbox is full. Couldn't PM you.

If anyone else is interested, please PM me.

SB, this one is Clear, not Fogged White as the new ones are. You should be able to see the bulbs inside clearly.

Also the white fogged ones are SGP and extremely expensive even is a older Baleno needs to get a newer set, would cost around 4.5k - each. anyone got the exact price?

Also Accessories Extra!

Those tail lights look nice, well different, anyway. So do the headlamps.
@smokin, do we have to use HID's or will normal bulbs do? Are the angel eyes made using LED's? Any idea about the cost?

no it depends on you you go for hid's or normal bulbs the one with two projectors can use a normal bulb but it will not look that much good after this setup ,hope you got my point

these are normal h7 and h1 bulbs /hid's

as seeing the angel eyes brightness i think these are ccfl ones and led indicators on side

Good to know that normal bulbs can also be used. Dont need it to look like angel eyes when headlights are on. Just when the park lights are on.

Angel eyes are just eye candy, and so are HID's

Anyways, when u turn on the headlights, HID or not, the rings wont be visible. Thats why you see lots of Civis/Swifts using HIDs in the fog lamps.
