30 % off on all remaps is a fantastic offer. 30K remap would now be available at 21K.

Its a brilliant offer and the idea is to get the whole country Pete'd. Just a small note, the discount is applicable only for Stage 1 remaps. Stage 2 and beyond are not included. It is applicable across all its dealers pan India.

Is there any discounts on detailing sessions as well? Does anyone have a proper list of the discounts - items wise? The website anyway does NOT list the discount details.

I just called their number this morning on seeing this. It looks like only remaps get 30% off. Most other items had only 10% off..

I had to rush and couldn't ask what items carried 40-70% discount.

Just had a quick call with Pete's ~All their Borbet Alloys are one sale (30% until 31st December) as well but depending on availability. He also says that products on sale can also be bought from 'Head over Heels', Whitefield. Contact person is Shibin (97414 22226)

While tune o tronics is offering virtually unlimited remaps, Petes is still charging per stage.
I don't know about the technical aspects as such, but I am little disappointed after the above post.

Stage 2 and beyond require hardware mods which is not supported by the likes of Tune o tronics

As far as I know Tune O Tronics are not doing any performance modifications be it downpipe or turbo which is necessary for the higher states of tune. Fine tuning a map is offered for free at Petes as well, one can also revert back to stock map before a service if needed and then get the remap post service for free.

Another thing, what if your coils/turbo etc get damaged by a map from Tune o Tronics. Who do you go to for service then? At Petes, you get the 24x7 service back up with out having to go through the torture of visiting the service centres (esp if its a Skoda/VW one)

Does anyone know the amount Petes used to charge to do a remap for a car like Vento TDi. Have sent them a mail asking about the price for their remap, would love to get it done for my Vento if its in the vicinity of 25k after discount. Read on some other forum about a cruze owner who got his car remapped for 45k earlier - if thats the truth, then its quite expensive even with 30% off.
