Hella comes properly packaged and from my experience last long too, even compared to Bosch which has been not that great.

Hi Suhas, where do you buy Hella Wipers from? I am struggling to get hold of them for ages.

I was able to find Hella ones from Amazon this time, but only for XUV's rear wipers. Other sizes were not available.

Earlier I had got Hella's from auto accessory shops in Bangalore. I have found them to be better than others.

This was for my Ecosport. I found the stock XUV to be the best.

I had used DynaEdge and Curvo - both have been top class. But unable to get hold of them for my Ecosport.

What is OEM spec for VW Tiguan. I need to replace mine and local dealer is out of stock. Are they available online anywhere in India.

I need to replace wiper blades for my Vento TSI Highline. The OEM blades are not good. Does anyone have any suggestions on other brands ? I am located in Bangalore

Replaced the wipers on my Linea last week. First time in the entire ownership of 6 and half years. The originals were surprisingly good. Ordered it from 99rpm and were delivered promptly. Few pictures of DIY.
These are OEM's imported from Germany.

The package -

I was looking for a new set of wiper blades for my Hyundai Creta. The stock Syndicate wipers which were a year old had served their purpose and also I was bored with how old they look.

After a brief search online, I finalised on Bosch Clear Advantage for their frameless design and the fact that they weren't too expensive compared to Michelin and various other types of Bosch wipers.

Bought a pair from Boodmo.com, for around 800/- including delivery. It was delivered in 3 days flat.
Boodmo has really improved their turnaround time.
It was packed really well and the manufacturing date turned out to May 2020, another plus point.

I am really impressed with the blades. They leave absolutely no streaks and their operation is absolutely silent. Cleans the windshield spotless. Installation was a breeze, barely took two minutes.

Now let's see how long they actually last.
But I usually end up changing my blades just before every monsoons.

Overall I would highly recommend these blades to others.

How they look from outside.

My experience with Bosch was never great. I came across this "Clouds Teflon Coated Wiper Blade" with decent reviews on Amazon and purchased it for the Fortuner. I feel it is doing a better job that Bosch, but it might be too early to comment.

Check the Aero range from Bosch (frameless). Theyre really good, and offer a plush sweep

I have had good experience with Bosch Clear Advantage and Aerotwin. The Eco range is average at best.

Thanks. I was on Bosch frame less earlier, but experience was not too good. Let me see how this goes

Hi All,

I own a 2019 ELite i20 Asta (O) model which has a frame type wiper blades. I am not happy with their performance and within a year I have found streaks on the glass after every wipe and the wipe is not clear.

I want to change to a frameless wiper blade. Please let me know if it is possible to change from a frame type blade to a frameless one. I am not having any idea if it's possible to change rear wiper to the frameless one (please educate me on that).

And kindly let me know the OEM size of the wiper blades for my car model.

Thanks in advance.

You'll need 24" & 16" blades up front and 12" for the rear.

It's better to get rear blade replaced at ASS as the hook mechanism varies from car to car (unlike front wipers which mostly have J-hook). And yes, switching from framed to frameless wipers is quite straightforward :thumbs up

Purchased Rain-X WeatherBeater last rainy Season and have been performing well on my Fiesta. Paid about 1K for the pair on Amazon.

I see no creases on the windshield and wipes are clean.
Despite parking outside, I am yet to notice any degradation of the rubbers.
