As for the Columbus II, I couldn't find it either on cars-equipment.com or SuperSkoda. It is, however, available at www.volkswagen-navigationsystem.co.uk for € 1,130 (not sure why a UK site is quoting prices in euros).

Sorry, I didn't quite follow - did you get the look of the steering wheel changed (i.e., covered the chrome bits with black)?
Hawkeye, ya i have look everywhere for the colombusII and its only available on the website u mentioned. I will be travelling to these countries in another 3 months, so I am hoping to buy it off the shelf(i available). I Feel Eur1200 is quite a lot!!

As for the sanding of the chrome: thats for the main front grill, not the steering wheel :-) If you notice, in one of the pics, the grill has been painted satin black and the chrome part has been changed to black glossy chrome!

Akshay congratualtions on the Upgrades ! They look awesome

Wanted some information regarding the cars-equipment website!

Did you order your alloys from them or you got them from a local Skoda Dealer? I really want to change my stock alloys and am looking at all available options ! I am just worried about the customs !!

Haha no Supriyo. I was just asking since the OP mentioned he had got the steering with the paddle shifters for 300 USD from CZ. That sounded pretty cheap! I figured that the stock airbag would have been used on that case.

Replacing the steering is very easy BTW. I'll do it myself when I intend to change mine to one of the newer models.

The car looks damn sweet with Black Rims ! I intend changing the Alloys too, but am gonna stick to 17"s.. I have been doing a lot of research regarding the same. Don't know if you are privy to the threads. FYI this is the post( Well somewhere around here ) :

Do Check out the Wheel Simulator on the Wolfracealloys website. It's awesome and will give you a fair idea of how you'r car will look.

Here's a link for the same : http://www.wolfrace.com/wheelsimulator/

Hope you enjoy it

Cheers

Hey, is there any way we can get in touch with the dealer in Bath and discuss the possibilities on individual terms? Will the dealer be willing to pack it up good and ship it via fedex, their bank details for making the payments, etc., its best that one gets all the info directly from them. Thereby eliminating any willing or unwilling responsibility at your end

Ive told my buddy there to find out. I have also mailed the dealership and they have called him to confirm receipt of mail. SO once I get the info, I shall let you know. If its too expensive or they dont have it, I will pick it up from Cars equipment itself.

adi, the guys at Bath need details of the car, VIN number. Since my car is still due to arrive, you should contact them and ask them for the price and availability of the wheel.

The dealership is Platinum Skoda at Bath.

Email them.
