Hi i have not said bye bye to the esteem engine. But the esteem engine has more power that the brakes cannot handle,so i removed it as the esteem disc are of 13'' the zen has 12''.I had read in an recent OVERDRIVE issue that J.ANAND had preprad a zen of which the doors, bonnet and the tail gate as well as the fenders were made up of fiberglass to reduce the weight. He had also experinced the same problem so he fitted the esteem disc at 4ends.So if any body can do this job i can again fit the engine.

Parts that make my car:

vishnugnair- Leela's headers are great . The acceleration is vicious( without an intermediate muffler before the stainless steel muffler, to reduce sound). But now , with the intermediate ,the acceleration has dropped a bit, but still fast)

The other tuner you are talking about must be J Anand .

Rehaan-wheels and tyres are stock.

Plans for my 04 Red Zen(may seem a bit farfetched but will do it some day!)

Here goes the dream list and you can have a good laugh guys.

Engine :
High Lift Cams
Porting and polishing the heads, upping the compression ratio.
Free flow filter and forced intake.
Free flow exhaust(4x2) with a good header system.
ECU upgrade? Is it available?
Turbo charger? I like the idea!
NOS?!! You must be kidding but much much later.

Interior:
Sparco rally seats.
Rev counter and other gauges.
Sparco Rally steering.
Pioneer high fi system.
Drilled pedals and steering wheel.

Body:
Front spoiler and side skirts.
Fog lamps.
Wheels: 185/55R13 alloy with michelin tubeless tyres.
Neon lights underneath.

Is it possible? Some body please wake me.

I have seen these Rev counters in many cars recently.. How good are they, I mean it's got the rev meter and theres a small circle above this .. can any one explain what is it for. I was thinking it was a light meter, it blinks if u overshift of something..
And does the New Zen have a standard RPM counter in the Tacometer?

Its called the shift-light. You can set the rpm at which point the light blinks very briefly, so you dont have to look at the rpm gauge to know the right shift point. When racing, its better to keep your eyes on the road, and that flash will let you know when to upshift.

I know just what you are talking about, TF. I started planning my Jeeps restoration project before it even totally rusted!! And thats in 2002!!

My restored Jeep too is now a reality...and to me, its the best Jeep in the world. Words cant express how I feel about her.
