Thats quite okay, he might be a Subby fan and did his car up in its colors. lthough the shade is wrong. He does not have anything wierd on the car. Should have gotten bronze colored alloys.

Nope..that looked quite different. This seems to be more like a painting. Like the ones usually seen at the back of the Readers Digest magazine, mostly done by C.F. Payne.

Gypsy inspirations

At Baroda: Looks like a Gypsy hang-over.

In case any one has any doubts - no, this was not a Gypsy.

Coincidentally, this is the second 207 I have seen in the span of one week, with the spare wheel mounted on the tail-gate. The other one was a 207 DI Crewcab in JP Nagar, Bangalore.

This Looks Good Condor, nice wheels with an Army look, IMHO a little bit of camouflage paint job (military style) would look nice too

The guy sure has got issues.
1.How does he manage to see behind?
2. HOW EARTH DOES THE WHEEL STAY THERE!

condor the 207's job looks neat and has been executed well.
My pick would have been black though. I love it, to each his own .

My question too. But the rear view is not blocked much. I have that much of vertical protrusion of the spare wheel even on my Sumo.

Agree with you. It didn't look bad. Posted it here since there were mod's on it, and the spare-wheel mount set me off. Just that it seemed to lose character, stuck somewhere between a Gypsy & a pick-up.

The wheels were a good touch. The engine didnt seem to be the original 1948cc NA version, by the sound of it.

May be we should have an official Mod-Job Thread.

The 207 looks ok to me.As mentioned, black would have given the truck a better look.

I guess the guy driving the M800 has 'No looking Back' as his idea of life..

To be precise that is a Sierra (based on the 207),in all probability the turbo (side corner markers is a clue, apart from the intercooler stickering), with its rear part of the roof chopped off. The Tailgate mounted spare wheel was standard on the Sierra. Tata was planning on a softtop for the car and I wonder this might have been one of their still-born cars from R&D, sold off outside.

The mod's are nice, he removed those plastic wheel arch claddings, which surely is an indicator that the modder knew what he was doing. Does not belong here in this thread.

But thanks for the photograph anyway, otherwise wouldn't have seen it.

Possible. One doubt is the licence plate, which was the old stype - 3-Alpha + 4 numeric.

The intercooler stickering isnt much to go on. It is a sticker, and dont think the Sierra turbo had an IC.
