Off the raod show, those two trophies would have ended up here as well!!
I'll see if my trusty fone camera backup has some grainy pictures of them.
if you see the pic of the car's front view up close you will also notice the jet black tints concealing the driver. this is no showcar, this is a brainstorm gone bad.

This Nano owner was so concerned about the car's safety (or lack of?) that he went and installed crash guards. Front AND back! Completely destroyed the otherwise cute looks.

I guess the owner liked to use the "TATA" look in his Nano with the front guard which is seen mostly on the tata 407 trucks. After all Nano belongs to the Tata family

OT : Absolutely brilliant pic. It looks so surreal. (Not in a nice way, in a strange angle way)

I spotted this auto-rickshaw some couple of months back when we visited Mookambika temple.

Can anyone tell me what's the use of that mud-flap?

EDIT : The auto-rickshaw does not have a registration plate too

Nice catch GTO. We've a Tata Nano with similar crash guards. I will try to click a pic when I spot that car next time.

OT: If you minus those crash guards, the Tata Nano resembles a toy car when viewed from above!

^^ Probably he cares too much for the roads, that he swipes clean of it wherever he goes, as he does with the customer's pocket.

The nano and autorickshaw (the one with HUGE mud flap) - Suggest they magnetise their monsterous fittings; atleast that will remove some nails from the roads!

The Chennai MTC actually runs a vehicle with such magnetic bars to remove nails.

How I wish that we had similar vehicles to get rid off the nails. Kudos to Chennai MTC
