Apparently the same car was in my office compound a week ago. In front she had an Ashoka's Lion on red background. Also sported a red right on top.

The also had massive 8-10" speakers on the back.

this contraption is basically fitted to the vehicle to hold a plaque of sorts. mostly used for government and defense purposes and usually found on non-government/ defense vehicles like taxis (as seen in the picture above).

once these vehicles are wear these government/ defense plaques, they are considered to (temporarily) be on government/ defense duty. the police, i presume, are aware of this and hence do not mess around with these vehicles - unless of course they wanna be on the wrong end of the stick

Seems the picture is on Facebook.

No offense to anyone, but guys, please post the ones that you find yourself rather than the ones on the net.

Check this out guys... (Sorry for the poor picture quality...phone camera at night!)

This is an Ikon, with a clothes hanger and two bright LED type lights on it.

Later when I overtook it to see what other 'damage' was done it had a hood scoop at the very front of the car, HRC and Toyota stickers and a host of other stickers which I couldnt make out. It also had a can on the exhaust, the exhaust sounded as it it was broken (not like a free flow but one where you punch a metal rod through it!)

No pictures for it as I was riding at that time!

Geez, that is annoyingly bright!!!!
HRC and Toyota, on a ford?
lets see--Fonda,Tonda . . . this can go on for days,but we have a winner,very apt.
wait for it: TORD!

@TC:Surprising that you so accurately know about the sounds post a metal rod being skewering a muffler...
lots of pics of that earlier in this thread....

Another Clothes hanger

Here is the first, from me. I am really not sure why people want to spoil a cute looking i10, with a clothes hanger and fake dual exhausts. It would have been better if they were solar cells for ICE.

Weird and wacky is absolutely right!!
Take a decent car and do so crazy stuff. I dont have pics but things i have seen
  • Add non functional spoilers which look more like plastic hangers than anything else.
  • To the head lights and fog lamps that are standard, add 3 to 4 pairs of lights that are mounted anywhere from the bumper to the roof
  • Non functional and horrendous looking scoops
  • Horrible decals
  • Pasting stickers of every perfromance enhancing product manufactures from bilsteins to Yoko
  • Mud flaps that would fit a lorry!!
  • mix and match of colors
  • Insulting the manufacturer by adding badges of another. A maruthi 800 sporting a Benz badge.
  • Horns that sound like wailing babies
  • Bolt on exhausts that dont do anything more than just being heard.Add fake exhausts into the same list
My point is why try to be what you are not. A donkey in a tiger's skin is still a donkey. Our regular stock cars dont become super cars just by sporting a few stickers or adding mufflers or roof scoops or spoilers. Your are just wasting money and you end up on the weird and wacky post

Maruti 800 with Sunroof, Skirts, worked up suspension, loud music and what not!! Perfect example of extra money in wrong hands and a crazy brain!
