I know the owner. He is a DJ, knew he wont get anything for it, so he wanted a wild and whacky paint job on it. if you had more pics, you would notice that each and every panel is painted a different color ( with some colors being repeated), and the amount of effort gone in painting each panel. Its not something i would wanna be seen in, but the fact that it was painted at a top BMW workshop in Delhi does say a lot for it!!

i think the matiz has shown up here before

Heh, the merc indica is not far off. the Indica's 475 engine comes from a line spawned by some ancient benz truck engines

Considering the fact that TATA does not provide the best after sales and also the link with benz you have shared with us, I guess its time cabbies should get their indicas serviced at Merc service centres.

There is something about the white car that makes it a bit striking. From the pics I am not being able to make out what it is, but it does resemble the Toyota's AE series. Atleast, the roofline and B pillar is quite identical, not the rest though. There has to be something special about the white car or maybe its a mod-job to make it resemble jap sports cars of late 80s.

The white car looks from the back like the 1973 Datsun 240Z with 2.8L turbo.
Offcourse the body-kits and the spoiler are retrofitted.I am not certain but these two cars have a strong resemblance.Have a look at the rear glass, tail lights,B pillar etc. Sorry for going OT.

From the rear, it looks strikingly similar to the Corolla Sprinter [AE 85/86]
but , there are dissimilarities. AFAIK, theres an AE 86 somewhere in mumbai..
any ideas guys??

Yes, it had been spotted by the members. Yeah, the car posted here do have a resemblance to the AE series as I mentioned but the front door and panels look different. Also it seems that its a 'fibre-bodied' car, so there is a oossibility of it being an ordinary car afterall. But if it is really something as serious as the Trueno 86 or anything close, it will definately be worth finding more about the car.

Another Wannabe boy racer/ Ricer probably 'inspired' by the pathetic sequel to Fast & the Furious.

That is OK brother -- this is the only quality it deserves -- not even 0.1 megapixel more
