thats too many people to be driven in an M800. Was the vehicle moving or this photograph was for representational purpose only ?

The vehicle was actually used to transport the ladies from the homestay to the ground / river nearby over a distance of nearly two kms. It did manage to make the trip but twice or thrice, people had to be offloaded to get over gradients !

That lion is priceless.
Maybe Jaguar can take inspiration from this and change their logo.
What is the base car?
118NE?

New Jaguar logo
I don't think it is a 118NE because it seemed to be a bit bigger. But it is anybody's guess.

I guess someone kept the lion on the bonnet and just forgot about it. Later the guy must have reaslised. "this looks good'.

Man this is crazy. Its an actual show piece that has been literally 'kept' on the bonnet.

cheers,

ac

hahaha, a good find. However, after much thinking, I am quite sure its some old Toyota indeed, maybe the Toyota CROWN. And yes, that lion on the hood, can even give the lady on a rolls an inferiority complex! Man just look at the size of it! Truly weird.

That hood ornament wins the oscar, nobel, booker, filmfare and any other award you want! it rocks! and the best part is that you can remove it after your drive and it will adorn a corner of your room just as well as it graces the roads.

In case the brakes dont work and you rear end someone the lion will fly off and smash their heads for having the audacity to stand in your way!

ditto if they smash into you!

This car has the massive power of the "loin"!

You may be right:
the car is a little longer and wider than the 118NE. Even the bonnet design is different. The NE had slots on the top of the bonnet near the windscreen. The c pillar design is a little different. so are the OVRM designs.

BTW: Look what i found while searching the net for 118NE pics... a convertible 118NE!

Talking of lowering the car, I just noticed the 'floral' pattern of the rims, they could had very well carried a pink shade as well. Heh heh, the mod does look well executed and a quality work, but somehow Innova does not carry it well, its far from a merc atleast, and the side profile and the front (despite of that new merc Grille) spill the beans. However, its anyday better than that Swift and Toyota we lately saw here.
And strangely enough, interiors are stock. Also there is W124 parked near it, so in all the probability, the owner of w124 wanted another merc in his driveway without really having to part away with his innova and spending 'merc' kind of money.
