Hi All,

I need some help to upgrade the headlights on my Scross 1.6 Zeta (2015 model). The OEM headlights are quite average and just pass the mark in city. I will be doing some highway trips soon. Hence, i need to upgrade.
But i am not sure which one to opt for
1. Is the Osram night breaker compatible
2. Is the XPLED 5.0 the best choice or are there any alternatives.

TIA for any suggestions.

Depends upon your usage (rain/fog drives etc.) and budget. In most cases, M617 tri-LED get the job done really well for like 8k.

Ahmedabad RTO will be taking action against unauthorised LED upgrade of headlights so a vehicle that comes with halogen setup, if found with LED upgrade will face action. In near future, they also intend to take action on accessories shops for selling these.

Hello,

Any upgrade options for 5th Gen City Hi-beam (stock LED headlamps)? I find the throw and intensity to be inadequate for highway driving.

Thanks.

How is your review of this?

I am ordering the same although in H11 for Honda City. I also would like to have a warmer tone instead of all white.

Please let us know!

I had them in my Jeep Compass and they are pretty decent. On the Jeep though the projector lenses were milky so their effect was a bit muted. You will get much better results with other cars with clear lenses or reflectors.
On my Jeep I had got good results from 3 inch IPH M617 tri colour projectors which outshined the headlights and I was very happy with them. 3 inch Led projectors are really good and Aes, GTR and IPH have pretty good ones and they are available in the 8-10k INR range.

Dear Friends,

I need your help in upgrading the headlight set up in my Skoda Rapid 2020. It currently has stock halogen bulbs which I feel are inadequate both for city and highway driving.

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions,

Hello, could you please check your DM. I have a few additional follow up questions with regards to this!

I have an 2022 kia carens Prestige+. i wanted to upgrade my headlights but i'm not getting any idea.
Has someone upgraded the headlights?
should i go for higher wattage or LED's(i'm worried about visibility in rains) ?

I’m looking to upgrade my Virtus’ fog lamps to LEDs since the low beam is very average.

I got to know that these nighteye LEDs are good for fog lamps. Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks Amrit.

Budget is around 12-15,000. For fog lights, primary usage would be mostly good visibility in rain/fog. Aiding visibility in city would be an added bonus.

Any suggestions for head lights? Budget around 15-20,000 and primary usage would be good visibility on highways.

I had installed Blaupunkt 80-watt LEDs in my Honda Amaze. The installation was done by an aftermarket dealer and he did make adjustments for the beam.

However, the output was pathetic and the beam was towards the right. The stock beams were towards the left to ensure other drivers were not blinded. For the cost (INR 5000), these were absolutely pathetic. The visibility at night was also poor and I felt that these LEDs only looked bright when looked at directly with the naked eye, but the throw on the road was poor.

After a lot of pushing, the dealer agreed to take the LEDs back and install the JBL Stage 2 Component speakers in return for an extra charge of INR 500. I'm happy with the sound output and the stock Halogens now :)

Which would be the best LED lamp option for Tata Tiago (2016 XZ model)? I have never replaced the halogen lamps till now. Presently the lamp is functioning fine, but would like an upgrade as the quality of roads (Kerala) have come down again.
Kindly advise me.

Hi all,

Need suggestions for brighter headlights for Corolla Altis (10th gen). Currently I am using factory fitted lights and increasingly finding it dull, especially during outside city drives. Also need views on LED vs other options as LED light is white and whether it affects visibility in rain/fog. With 15 year fitness test around the corner, don’t want to try options which RTO may not allow.
