Guys,
I am planning to go for a momo steering wheel on my getz. It might cost me around 15k. Looks and feel aside, I would like to know how the driving would be after the change. Will it be too hard to steer?. I want a lighter steering. Also is it worth that
much?. On the hub front, the installer said he would be able to get a hub for around Rs 800. Does hub making a difference in
making the steering lighter?. I dont want to change the wheel just for the looks. Ease of driving is my primary requirement and
concern.

Thank you.

An aftermarket steering wheel of the same dia will not make reduce steering effort.

Thank you nitrous. I am actually planning to go for a smaller size. The current wheel dia size is 350 mm and the one I am planning to go for is about 320mm.

Instead of spending 15k on MOMO, I saw few "F1 Sports" steering wheels. Dont know the price but must be much less. Anyone here using it on their car?. Any reviews on it please. Thank you.

Smaller steering wheel will increase steering effort and the number of lock-to-lock turns.

I'm interested in putting an OEM Civic steering wheel in my OHC. Is it possible to do so?

The splines should match. Only then , Pranav.

Hub adapters only work with aftermarket steering wheels like Momo, sparco, nardi, etc.
Since kshanz says he's seen a OHC with a civic steering wheel, you could perhaps borrow someone's steering wheel () and check if it fits directly.
If it doesn't you'll have to see if its feasible to mill and alter the steering wheel's spline number/pattern to match the city or vice versa.

Hi Gigy

Apparently, the suzukis share the same spline pattern/number. So, you can go ahead and try the swift steering wheel. It costs 1500 bucks, brand new.
But, the plastic quality of the swift steering is pathetic! I planned this mod on my esteem. But, after driving an SX4 for 700 km day's trip. I'm planning to plonk my money on a leather aftermarket wheel than have my palms blistered.

Im talking about the regular steering wheel on the Swift Lxi/Vxi and on the SX4 VXi.
You want the one on the Zxi. Remember that this comes with the airbag. The Swift's airbag kit costs 25k.
