Let me take a step back and congratulate you first, on this retrofit! The question that comes to mind is, if Navnit sourced the part but were afraid to install it, would this have any bearing on warranty, especially steering and connected parts? It is a bold move if it does, especially since it is done for cosmetic purposes. Quote:

Understood, thanks. I am sorry, I am browsing Team-BHP at work and cannot play videos.
When I looked at the thread title, I thought this thread spoke about integrating the functions of the G8x M3/M4's steering's M1 & M2 along with installing the carbon fibre bits. But I see your requirement of cosmetically integrating the M-stitching and aluminium bits with the interior. Let me rephrase and humbly ask, was this worth 93k if there is a warranty impact? You could have just bought custom Alcantara grip with M-colour stitching and blue tick, at the same time retained the original 340i steering, which I am thinking could have also helped in maintaining originality and warranty. The way it looks right now, it is not too different from the original 340i steering and hence the question. Please consider that I am not questioning the fully justified price for OEM parts sourced through the appropriate channel, just the cost vs benefit vs risk.
