Try to find a source for EBC brake pads.
Am dying to find them for my esteem.
Had used their Green pads once. They were very very good.
Much more stopping power as comapred to stock pads from Tvs Grilling.
Also you do get steel brake lines that add a lot of pedal feel . They cost around 10 K for a set of 4.
Im dying to upgrade my brakes. Does anyone know where can i get good pads and/or rotors for my esteem ?
Sirji's Viper / KS Any Idea's ??

Maybe the wrong tire size is making the braking bad?

@ Tool - Where did you get the green brake pads for? And for how much?

Hey Shatul,

You will have to import them from either Singapore/Bangkok or London. Problem is the pad size in the Indian car differs from their international counterpart. Rotors can easily be imported from the same countries listed above.

hi guys!
read thru the post. As per my understanding there is no requirement for cars life swift/indica to upgrade to rear wheel disk brakes. However is there any reliable manufacturer for Brake pads for Indica. If any available in delhi/gurgaon it would be great.

Slightly off topic- Mr. Viper do you have K&N Universal intake filter for Indica TCIC and how much wud it cost?

@ viper: can we fix rear disc brakes that comes for corolla to Innova and city ZX VTEC to EXI/GXI (guess this can be done)
If so what would be the approximate cost?

Hi,

Can't comment without having both the cars in front of us. Might be possible with some alterations but cant say 100% for sure.

If you are looking at sourcing new stuff it would be very expensive not sure how much exactly but in the region of 40k+. You would new discs, callipers, pads, brake lines & most importantly a complete new hub.

Hey I once talked about the Tarox Kits for Swift to Petes Performance,Cochin and they said that they got a full rear Disc Kit for the swift with them , which is totally imported, and if I remember correctly the price was something close to 1.5 Lakh rupees.
