Hi,
The USED set with the bigger discs cost me around GBP 400, that was without shipping. the box weighed around 40kgs so the shipping was another GBP200. The braided steel lines were an additional GBP 60.
You have to remember the Mondeo is a heavy ol' thing. The VTEC is small and light. Change to EBC red stuff pads and braided steel brake lines and you will not believe the difference. Also, something this large will not readily fit under anything less than a 17" or 18" rim as the discs themselves are 13" in diameter! And add another few for the massive caliper.

Hi,

Not possible. What you have probably seen is those cars running those fake calliper covers.

My advice to you to get out more performance out of your new cosworth intake would be to install a good Cold air intake

Well the Brembos are on at last.
Haven't had enough time to try them out. Still have to get the steel lines on today and the blue brake fluid.
They are big though! Almost thought the rims wouldn't go on.

Hey,

What size are the rims and what size are the discs as they look small in comparison. Did you think the discs would not fit in diameter or the callipers touching the rims would be the issue. They look like 286mm discs to me.

I agree, either the discs are small or the angle of the picture taken is making it look like that because it seems as if 3 lug nuts are missing too.

286mm?????
FYI,
The stock Mondeo front discs are 300mm. The rears are 280mm.
the Rims are 19" OZ Superleggeras.
Also, we had put on the rim to make sure the caliper wasn't touching the spokes, therefore the 2 lugs.
