Hafi, its possible to get the vRS alloys (used) for around 10k.
If you want all the gizmos, go with the vRS.

Nice post Hafi. I had the same thing in my mind.
But, isn't vRS much more powerful than the normal petrol version?
if yes, i would suggest to go for a used vRS and some performance parts.
Also please let me know your decision, it'll also help me in deciging

Doesn't the vRS have a smaller steering wheel as well?

Whats the cost for getting that fitted on the 1.8TPi?

Playing around with steering wheel = not adviseable, due to the air bag.

@ mikon

the answer to your question lies in post #2. The RS & the 1.8 TPi run the same engine

Cheers

Sorry dude...was offline for a few days as my system got crashed .The Rs is yellow one and its banglore registered and the white one is not kl-5.

In fact the white rider 1.8 is an untouched beast the old guy just uses it around the city and he never allows his driver to go beyond 100(can u believe??.. despite having such a powerful vehicle)

And people... is there any difference in the heart of the RS and 1.8 tpi(i meant the engine)??

Thank You,

Hafi

From what I've seen from the forums, the drivertrain of the vRS and the TPi are exactly the same. What differentiates them are the bundled accessories and kit.

Hmmm, I was under the impression that there's a remap available for the petrol, while the box is for the diesels. Or am I way off base?
What are these bells and whistles ??....can anyone be more exact??....

taking into consideration of both cars , the difference i found are:

1)RS Bumper(Available Skoda Second Hand(Rs 4500))
2)Xenons(Available(Rs 10,000))
3)Head Lamp Washers(X)
4)Sun/Moon Roof(Available For Free But No Glass)
5)White Sporty Dials(X)
6)White Sporty Carpets(X)
7)Leather Seats(X)
8)Cruise Control(X)
9)Rain Sensing Wipers(X)
10)Rear Spoiler(Available)
11)16" Alloys(X)
12)Rear Muffler(Available Rs 600)
13)Vrs Symbol On the Gear Knob(Available Free)
14)Distance To Empty(Not sure)
15)Reverse Senser(Available Rs 3000)

total conversion cost : 18100

Common people i need inputs on these...

Thanking You,
Hafi

A guy who sells second hand spares.these head lights with one or two broken legs will be replaced by rich kids they wont keep it as they look for perfection .so these replaced parts go into this guy for cheap rates .one or two or all broken legs doesn't matter to me. .

And about the glass.all sun/moon roof have a glass mounted on to the frame.and only this frame and the reclining motor is available with the guy.the rest i have to source it out.(may be it can be remade using fiber glass(hope so)).

I need to know whether there is any difference in the engine specs.performance wise.

Do drop in your inputs.
Thanking You,
Hafi
