Just ordered Collinite 845, waiting for delivery.
Are there any special instruction on its application. What kind of cloth I will require to use it?

Apply with a foam applicator and buff with a good MF cloth.
Let me add a couple of more things.
1. Allow it to dry, i.e. you get a good white deposit. It is a wax with an emulsifier in water, so let it set a bit. I prefer to use a slightly damp sponge.
2. If you want a durable finish do not buff too hard. The little extra wax which remains will last far longer, though the gloss may be only 95% of the ultimate.
Good to hear this is now available in India. I waxed with 845 in April and it is still beading well. Remember when washing your car to not use a wash that will strip the wax off.
The hard wax (476) is very hard to apply. I bought a tin over to India to use on our 550 and it needed a good arm workout to get it on.

And where can I purchase them? Of a good quality? Any brands/stores recommended, especially at Bangalore or online?please:
My car is 6 months old. I have got few scratches and usual swirls marks. From the threads following looks like a complete process:
1.) Wash
2.) Clay
3.) Polish
4.) Wax
But for scratch, i guess i will need to use some rubbing compound, something like Formula One Scratch Out. When exactly this should be done?
For polishing what other products are good and easily available other than Sonax polish.
Yesterday, there was a scratch on my bonnet and my neighbor applied a 3M rubbing compound (MRP was 110 on bottle), and the results were surprising. I am gonna buy that product, but dont know what should be pre and post application (like washing / claying / waxing) to it.
I used a sponge which came as part of the Formula1 pack. You can easily buy a sponge from any General Merchant. Make sure it is foam and not the 'mild' scrubber.
Meguairs is now available in India directly. There is a distributor in Mumbai Powai. Hope this information will help. They have stock of most of the products available.

Is the hard wax (476) a tougher breed than Waxpol?
