Dipen, the Palio done by Ashdeen looks stock from the outside except for wider tyres. If you want a lot of "jazz" on your car, one of the other guys are probably better, but if your priority is performance, SDT is the place.

hey men, do SD or KS do superchargers?? i would get a supercharger installed in my palio, if i had one- besides, no turbo lag, better engine efficiency, more power, and more F.E too!!

anyways, i am looking for a supercharger kit- i shall reveal the car to be modded onto, later; but first, can they do superchargers?? and if yes, have they done it before??

sbfx regarding rear disc brake conversion check out the kits available from wilwood or check this link

www.precisionbrakescompany.com

they have rear discs with parking brake arrangements. These kits mount directly to the rear axle. they also have 13" front rotors with them.

Bump, just stumbled upon this thread. Can we add some details from this thread to the Palio mods thread please?

Quite informative I must say.

hey ya....

the previous threads were posted 2 years back..
i hope someone in the team-bhp family by now has figured out how to tune palios 1.2 and 1.6 with turbos and not burn a hole in the pocket.

hope the wait for 2 years is well rewarded.

What i found was its extremely difficult ( and expensive too ) to source performance parts for the palio like clutches, cam, bigger injectors etc., Would make sense to stick with mild mods on the palio.

Or you can follow me and always attack the PTWR

I got your point Sajeeth. I also came across your thread here - turbo124.com :: View topic - Mods for palio 1.6

What is PTWR? I agree with your point of mild mods to the Palio. It should work best.

That's because it's built for third-world countries only.

i really dont think you can install a turbo in the palio 1.6.if you open the hood, there is hardly any space inside the engine bay to installa turbo,intercooler,piping..

I agree my friend. They did not market it in countries where they knew they wouldn't find buyers. And surprisingly it sold well only in South American and South African markets.

I am planning to get the bonnet, side fenders and the hatch fibreglassed. Should save me about a good 50 Kgs I guess. That would put the car in the same league as the OHC and baleno...

Harrie it will still be 1030 kgs i.e. atleast 55 kgs more than the OHC and the Baleno. I am wondering where the weight on this car is concentrated?
