Akshay, he got the wrong headers. It was not intended for him, and a simple phone call would have avoided the cutting and welding.

Good luck with replacement FFE.

Was eagerly waiting for your thread to update and now that was an sad updation though?

So whats the update PaulBarber.

Did you remove the headers and fitted the stocks and sended them back to viper or are you waiting for the new FFE to arrive.

Next time when you are installing the kit please take some snaps also.plz

Hope the new one will be a perfect bolt on with no other issues.

Thanks guys...in hindsight, yes, I should have just called him the moment the FFE didnt fit. Definite mistake from my part. It didnt strike me that it could probably be just be a messed up piece or maybe even a wrong one sent across. I just assumed the worst.

And Thanks Jignesh, for being so understanding.

Jithu, I currently have the headers + stock expansion chamber + stock muffler. Rest of the pieces are with me. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Viper is sending me complete new bolt-on kit. Once I get it fitted, I need to send the old one back to him.

Yes, I'll get the snaps taken next time.

Hey guys...sorry...I didnt notice the update to this thread. Jignesh was on vacation and now he's back. I called him last week. He said he'll ship the new exhaust by Saturday (ie 13th). If he had shipped it, it should have reached here by now I guess.

I'll anyways be calling him tomorrow to check. Will keep you informed.

Jignesh had a personal emergency, so there was some delay in the shipping. The replacement FFE was shipped from Mumbai late last week so I'm expecting it to reach Trivandrum some time this week. FFE was fitted and tested on a Getz at Viper's end, I'm expecting it'll be a true bolt-on this time.

I'll update the thread with pics and details as soon as I get the FFE.
