Power's an addiction.
Or in the word(s) of the eminent JC ,"POWER"!!

Mileage?
i havent heard of it as a problem from most people driving it,kind self included.
basically, it is what it is.Ive made my peace with it, that i wont get more than 9-11 in traffic.
and sometimes I get better mileage when I "think" i'm thrashing it!!
as per all other comments - IMO.

Ruchir, that's superb. Seeing a White S first time I think. You are giving me ideas now. Please post the costs. Have you upgraded tyres too to 15"?

BTW, the spoiler which comes factory fitted on S is the other one, not the one which have taken I think. However, this also looks cool.

hi sanjay,
i havent upgraded the tyres yet, they are the same 14" company fitted,
and yes, the spoiler is not the S one but the normal fiesta spoiler available with ford, the cost was one big factor, S spoier was costing 18 k whereas this one costed me 9k only,

the idea behind this mod was that i always wanted to buy the 1.6S, but due to the less attractive interiors (IMHO) and stiffer suspension, i went for the SXI, which had other benefits which could not be modified later but the exteriors of S could be put anytime. and here goes a car with SXI as well as original S exteriors

Hey ruchir,
Nice shot man.
She's looking pretty standoutish.
have you used a 90 deg bend to get the muffler tip out?
it looks like its pointing slightly downward.
Might i suggest some interior bling from dcp-shop?
I'm gonna pick up their gearknob and handbrake lever next month.

i got the existing silencer fitted with a small rod and made it slightly upward, but still it looks somewhat bending downwards, reason is that i need to make a space for the silencer in the lower part of the boot, which i avoided

I think you can get a 90deg bent pipe with a longer vertical section(the vertical section marked in red), so that the exhaust tip bolts on parallel to the ground, without cutting up the bumper, or compromise on clearance....sorry, dude, not disrespecting your ride(it looks awesome!!),trust me.its just that the tip pointing downward looked odd so i pointed out() .I spoke to a guy here, pipe bender/welder/jack.says maximum 20 minutes work,4-500 rs.

this is not the actual design of a fiesta SXI silencer, in my case the pipe is bending downwards and if i need to have a straight look, first i need to cut down the bumper above the silencer in half the shape of the silencer and then make it straight, but the ford mechanic told me to keep it as it is, as of now... may be ill get it done in time to come

yup i know.
I have the same.
what i meant was, incase you aint running a freeflow, and hence bends dont bother you,you can add a reverse zee shaped section to the endpipe.
basically, add a smooth cornered L-shape aftermarket exhaust tube.
no cutting of bumper or anything.

By the way, are the alloys the ones which come with the car? or is it also aftermarket fitment?

None of the part is an aftermarket fitment, the car variant is SXI petrol with all the company fitments, and apart from that i got the original Sports side kit of 1.6 S installed as well.

Ruchir, this looks just awesome in white! I have an 1.6 Sxi (Paprika red) as well and will be adding the S kit soon. BTW, the dealer quoted 13 K for the original S Spoiler including taxes and labour here. I guess they are not really sure of the price themselves cos I remember Gilead saying it costs 15k in Chennai and now you quote 18k. At least something seems to be cheaper in Bangalore!
