Max 2000 Strobe Kit will cost you around 3000. It has some 12 different patterns and very powerful.

There are also cheaper available which you can get around 500 Bucks.

The pack contains bulbs, control module and wires.

Is behind the radiator grille a good place to fit these strobes. Is the heat from the engine going to be an issue ??

these bulbs can be fixed on the parking light bulb socket (in headlamp) or fog lamp assembly. Max 4k is expensive but worth it.

Not advisable to fit it behind the radiator grill as it can (maybe) melt due to heat or can cause an electrical short in rainy conditions. Alternatively get a set of fog lamps, remove the bulbs inside, fix the strobes, and fit the fog's under the car. Our member Mclaren1885 had a similar setup in his zen... looked neat.

One question..

On a 2005 Ford Ikon 1.6, can one set of strobes be fitted in the parking light bulb socket of the headlamp assembly somehow without losing the parking bulbs? And another set of strobes, for the foglamp assembly without losing the foglamp bulbs?

Dude,

The lights you are talking about are not strobe lights but HIDs. Im sure they were blue or white in colour. But remember they are illegal if not fitted in a projector setup. Besides, strobe lights or any other fancy lights are illegal too.

^ Oh okay, what about the foglamps? So in short, to fit strobes, the bulb has to be taken out and the strobes fitted in the bulb's place?

Yes, you will have to remove either Fog lamps or parking lamps.

Speak to Ajith @ Mahaveer. Ask for Max 2k or Max 4k. He will know what you are asking for.

You might need to describe what strobes are to some others working there. They refer to it as camera flashlights for the car.

Ajith @ Mahavir Automobiles, G.P Road eh? I'm gonna pay him a visit and get a set of strobes for myself. Most probably the Max 4000.

Hey I had a look at the Max 4000 Strobes. 2 bulbs were straight type and 2 were hook type or something. Also, one of the straight type was not straight from the holder. I asked if it was broken, he said "No sir, its flexible.." Is it really like that??
