@rahulraa: Yes I saw these too and they definitely are very cost effective. However the ones we were talking about in the thread are specific to cars and have sizes that fit the window almost perfectly without leaving any gaps.

Congrats on the new car - waiting for a detailed review once you take delivery.

Hey folks, I have been hunting for these for couple of months for my innova without luck. Anyone experimented retrofitting the P8 ones in concealed fashion? Does it look very odd when fitted over the dash board.

May be if it is well integrated for the entire length like a beeding doesn't look bad. Do P8s look like this.

Seems like a good product, hope it works with Alto. Have left a query on their website.

Site claims that hey have started supplying curtains with motors for pulling up curtains.

re: Where can I buy 'pull up' rear window sunshades?

Hello all,

I've just bought a set of these curtains (P8 Amritras) for my Indigo Marina, from the Mumbai distributor.

He does not have the capability of fitting these curtains, however. They need to be screwed into the door trim (at the window sill), in addition to being stuck on with adhesive. To a car enthusiast, this may seem difficult to digest.

I am looking for a location with good staff, in Pune, which is where I am currently, to fit these curtains.

If any Pune-ites can suggest a location, I'd be obliged.

Will post pictures of the fitted curtains thereafter.

I have to say that the Rs.20 per piece shades with suction cups that are sold by street-side vendors at every traffic light, do pretty much the same job at much lesser expense. Only problem with them for me is that small children located in their car seats on the rear seats, tend to pull the shades off easily ... and then harangue you when they feel the sun.

Look forward to hearing from people ...

Cheers,

FourWheelDrift

P.S. Just checked http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...windows-2.html and noted shreeps and rahulraa's posts.

Is it ok to fit these suction type ones on a glass which already has sunfilm on it. I'm scared whether it would pull out the sunfilm alongwith it, while removing?
