Calling all owners of swifts, Modders enthusiasts. Guys I have a Swift Zxi. Just got the keeda to Mod her. Was thinking about a Post and polish job, headers with a Free flow exhaust coupled with a cold air intake. I would like to put a scoop on the bonnet for its efficiency coz if it stays in the engine bay then its not gonna be efficient. Any more suggestions for power improvement. Any suggestions re the brake set up coz I will need to upgrade the brakes. Also up size tyres and rims. I have my own thoughts but need inputs/advice from experts and you guys who've already tried stuff and succeeded/not succeeded so that I don't go the trial and error way. Also what is the sasta and tikau way
Thanks in anticipation.

v16 - im no expert but the air intake, headers, ffe, and porting and polishing should give you a significant boost in power. also i dont think the bonnet scoop is a very good idea since even water could go in and that would be bad. why not look at green air filters (www.petes.in).

about the braking after you upgrade the tyres there will also be a big improvement in the braking.

V - 16 go for a nice port polish job, exhaust with 4-2-1 headers, CAI and a nice filter like green and voila you have a significant boost in power, howver dont and i repeat dont upgrade the brakes by adding discs at rear as it will cause more harm then any gain, reliability will be a issue, just upsize to 195/60/15 and then you will feel the improved brakes.

Swift performance mod - budget 50k

Hi Friends
I own a Swift Vxi (ABS). The car has covered around 12k kms. I was planning for some performance mods on the car.

Objective:
Faster speeds and better pickup on highways.
Might want to take a step by step approach to applying the mods.

Constraints:
Don't drive a lot in cities - but given the less low end torque swift already has, its a bit of pain to drive in traffic. So the mods should not at least worsen the situation.
Would not be possible to go for octane 97 for every refill. So will try to avoid mods which require that.
Would like to avoid very big mods - esp the ones which totally mess up with the warranty (some messing up is fine ;-) ).

Budget:
Rs 50k

Requesting help from Gurus on the forum on this.

Thanks
Anand
