aZa and I were at a workshop yesterday, and managed to see a red swift turbo(garett) with inter cooler...thats right,in Delhi with a Delhi registration.apparently, the car has been turbocharged in chennai or Cochin, the mechanic wasn't really sure between the two.the car had come for repair as the 2nd gear of the transmission got busted.couldn't really get too much technical details as the mechanic wasnt willing to share any info.the car was also running a stage 2 exedy clutch.
And the car is owned by a certain really talented buddying rallyist from the north.any guesses?
P.S.couldnt really click any pics as the mechanic refused to let us.any delhi members wanting to see the car can go to the k& n distributor of noida

Hey, you sure about the talented budding rallyist part -- or does ot belong to a seasoned rallyist ??? I know of one swift thats turboed and owned by a rallyist though dunno the color so can't be sure if this is one Im referring to .

But the one Im referring to has been done by Leela .... and is a silent monster !!

Cheers

well lets just say,you mentioned him and was there at the rally workshop.his initials are G.G.
And the best part about the install was, that it was really neat,no pipes here and there,no red wires,no 90deg bends.at first we couldn't even locate the turbo...the n we found it neatly tucked away at the bottom.the giveaway was the bov and the boost prsseur valve.
