@brraj

amazing transformation of an already powerful machine. Next time we go to track, this is going to be a very popular machine.

Re: Re-Mapped Optra Magnum TCDI. EDIT:Dyno Graph on Pg 4

@sreejinair - Its done in TDI racing, bangalore. All i can say is money well spent. You can be tension free even if you hit a big hump at high speeds or while doing a mild off-roading in it. I have heard stories especially on magnum oil sump which will giveup easily when hit at high speeds. As precaution is better than cure done it. yes, as the oil sump guard is a bit low it might touch the humps for a stock magnum as suspension is soft but in mine it rarely touches as the suspension is stiffened. @megazoid - Thanks dude, when are you arranging the next track day?

So I guess, there is no need to change brake booster, and pads?. I assume stock pads wear out double fast?

No need to change all those. No, it all depends on your braking habits.

Re: Re-Mapped Optra Magnum TCDI. EDIT:Dyno Graph on Pg 4

@brraj: Did you ever get a chance to drive Optra Magnum with Pete's box fitted in it? If yes then how much difference was there between your car and the one with Pete's box.
Actually my Optra already has a Pete's box(which claims 20% gain) and I was thinking of going for the remap similar to one which you have done, so any feedback from your side on the performance/reliability post the mods will be really helpful.

No, not got a chance to drive a peted magnum but i guess in coimbatore drag our car was way ahead compared to peted magnum.

As you have already invested in petes box I would suggest you to go for a remap only if you are going to change to a performance clutch.

As i have sold my car to a friend he is enjoying the performance for a cheap price and as for reliability is concerned no issues so far and thanks to TDI Racing guys for good job.
