Yes, Michelin radials are good and offer more than twice the life of metz. But metz is definitely a better tyre when it comes to grip and handling at high speeds. But as you said, it does offset the metz unless you are going to the track often.

Also might be to keep weight in check. I suppose Apache310 will have lesser or similar average kmpl than Dominar because of almost similar power figures from a 60CC lower capacity engine which means lesser tank range.
