HmM ! I wish Yamaha or Honda would take inspirations from these ad makers,
CBZ had a piddly engine, and will always have one,
If the animal kingdom was compared to bikes, Hero Honda bikes are Sloth Bears. One slower than the other, when will the indian consumer wake up and not accept such exxageration of reality.
Even my 929 I owned once did not feel that fast
What's this like ? A 200 Bhp CBZ ?

CBZ Xtreme !!! Thats the lamest bike name I have ever heard. Wake up hero honda and name ur bikes something decent. In fact, come to think of it, it sounds like some kind of moped.

I have a gut feeling that this would be a 180cc version.

This new CBZ has to be a 180 cc to battle with the Pulsar 180. They cant possibly do a 200cc version as it might eat into Karizma sales. IMO i have always found the CBZ to be a better looker than the Karizma.

The battle on top will be between the new Pulsar 250 and the Karizma. the Pulsar might have an edge though

Dippy, I agree with you on the looks part.

An updated CBZ with its rear set footpegs, 180 CC (16-17bhp) engine, monoshock, alloys all <70K. Now that would give the Pulsar a fight.

Guess that is why BAL has recently upgraded teh P180

CBZ showed us 4 strokers are not just mileage champions and CBZ ruled Indian roads sometime back. I think one should appreciate HH for starting the revolution.

It should be 180cc. And about naming..heard abt Heat? Wind? Byk! Laura!

As long as they use the name Honda, Hero Honda will never be able to match Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors' prices. That's half the battle lost. Poor quality plastics and a not so athletic engine with high fuel consumption will just add to the problems.

Lets not jump to any conclusions as yet. Too much speculation has been done on the pulsar F1. I avoid any news and threads on it. I know everything on the bike, but yet to see them on the roads.

Wait and watch what HH comes out with, although I personally feel it could be 250+ else it might canabalise the Karizma sales. They haven't even showcased the bike. We could brainstorm the pros and cons once that happens. Too early to write home about or write off the new CBZ.

...Hey Ajo...Nice to see you after quite some time...

I guess this might be the 250 cc bike code named Dream that veyron had talked abt. A 250 cc FI bike...let's see, and let's hope HH make FI a patented technology.

CNBC announced in the news headlines that the new CBZ is a 180 CC. If it has to match new P 180, it has to be more powerful than even Karizma. Waiting with very keen interest on this new bike. I just hope Hero Honda dont put their dirty stickers on the body of this bike to make it ugly.
