Scooter with the best ride quality / suspension?

Team, need some advice on scooter which has better suspension.
We already have a Jupiter, so not looking for another one.

How is Ntorq with respect to suspension?

TVS NTorq
Suzuki Access 125
Honda Grazia
Honda Activa 125

Is there any other scooter missing in the list with telescopic suspension?

When you have the best, why look at the rest. I have found Jupiter to have the best ride quality. If ride quality is the prime requirement, Jupiter it is.

Although Jupiters ride quality is good, the suspension bottoms out in every pot hole.
Anyways this requirement was for second scooter. So don't want 2 Jupiters in the house

I guess TVS Wego has one of the best suspension set up among the scooters, it also has self balancing so is more agile.

re: Scooter with the best ride quality / suspension?

You have not specified what is your perception of best.
Is it ride quality or is it handling?

Ride quality wise , I guess all scooters with 12 inch wheels and telescopic front suspension are almost same.
I have owned a wego since last 8 years and vouch for its balance of ride quality and handling.

Handling : Hands down has to be Aprillia.
Not really off topic, but do youtube for Honda ADV150 /Honda PCX 150

Please refrain, & I say this from personal experience. Ntorq is my daily driver & it definitely is sprung on the stiffer side albeit nothing anywhere close to the SR twins but still stiff.

Aprilia's SR Twin's + Suzuki Burgman + Honda Aviator.

I absolutely concur with the above. If you don't wish to see another Jupiter parked in your garage for whatever reason that be, you may check Aviator. It is the better of the Honda crop in terms of ride quality.

Wego, honda i activa, suzuki lets - these are smaller scooter. Does not look like a full fledged ones. Hence did not consider.

Its all about ride quality. Cannot handle bone jarring rides of Dio .

re: Scooter with the best ride quality / suspension?

If back troubles is the reason behind your question, I would say avoid all scooters and get a bike.

All scooters have almost the same suspension, with deviation of maybe 15%.

To be frank there is no existing scooter in our market which will satisfy you as far as ride quality is concerned. Wait for some maxi scooter to be launched there seem to be some in pipeline this year.

It's agile, and it corners like a mosquito.

But the ride is stiff. Trust me, I own one.

Anyone looking for a comfortable ride should go for a motorcycle. Or a car.

re: Scooter with the best ride quality / suspension?

In the segment, you mentioned it has to be the Aprilla, but the top one among the list you've put down is definitely the Ntorq.

I own one, and is an absolute hoot to drive.

If you are not concerned about image, then do check out the TVS XL 100 in its various avatars and the Honda Navi too. I have no idea how they ride, but you never know, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Carrying a laptop, no lockable box to keep the rain cover, addition of gears etc etc makes motorcycle a bit cumbersome for office travel.

re: Scooter with the best ride quality / suspension?

With regards to better suspensions, TVS it is. Since you already own a Jupiter and so can't suggest Wego as its sleep and smaller in size.

The nTorq is a good performance bike in the 125cc segment. Good build quality and ride handling. Seats are large & comfy too. Lookwise its quite sporty look.

Test ride TVS nTorq back to back with other brands so that will give answer your doubts easily.

re: Scooter with the best ride quality / suspension?

If you need best suspension then see far away from the current crop of 100CC -125 CC Scooters. These were never made to have THAT comfortable ride. It's just a A to B gearless commuter. There seems to be new launches of tourer type scooters such as Aprila Comfort, Yamaha Aerox 155. Source

But, if the requirement was just a regular commuter look into the TVS Wego or the Suzuki Access. They are no-nonsense bikes and have a good and comfortable seating.
