How many bikers in here and what do you ride?

Strange coincidence mobike. I also ride a Silver Pulsar 150 DTSi bought in June 2005.
Mine has done only 12000kms till date.

Been riding as early as 1991.

My history of bikes:
1991 - a second hand Luna (used it for a year)
1993 - First geared scooter a Bajaj Super along with a Lambretta, still have the Bajaj.
1995 - Got a second hand Hero Honda (loved that bike, amazing mileage, bought for 17K sold it for 20k in 1997)
1998 - Got a 2 month old Suzuki Shogun (had the best biking years of my life on this bike.)
2001 - Sold the Shogun and bought a classic Pulsar 180 (one from the first lot), still use it. The bike has crossed 75000 kms till date

Now I want to upgrade to better bike but there are no viable options yet. Hopefully the Ninja comes in during diwali this year.

I ride a Pulsar 150 DTS-i bought in September 2005 and it has done only 34,500kms till date and now it got a digital speedo meter and new rubber and i am enjoying every moment with my pulsar

Bikes owned till date:
1991 Hero Honda Sleek (CD100SS) - bought second hand in 1999 and used it till 2006!
1991 Yamaha RX100 - bought it second hand and restored it. Ride it till date though very rarely.
2001 Bajaj Pulsar 150 (old model) - bought it second hand in 2006 and rode it for 6 months before selling it off.
2007 Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi (UG III) - bought a new one and is my daily ride.
2008 Honda Dio (sport) - bought this one for my dad as his daily ride

Near future bike(s): Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi or Yamaha R15.

Dream Bike(s): Yamaha R1, Suzuki Hayabusa and Ducati 999 and 1098..

Bikes owned till date:

1. Suzuki Shogun - 1998 - First bike I owned when I was in college. It was a gift from my Dad
2. TVS Fiero F2 - 2003 - The bike I bought from my own earnings.
3. TVS Apache 150 - 2005 - Bought it for my office commuting purpose as I felt the fiero was not good in cornerings and goes off balance though the engine was good.
4. Yamaha FZ16 - 2009 - Bought it this year as I was amazed by the initial looks. Wanted to change from the TVS Brand and wanted a bike for short trips for which I cant take my car (Santro) always. Amazing bike with superior balance and braking.

From 1997 to date - Hero Honda Splendor. Amazing bike, amazing mileage and zero engine problem. Only changes done were consumables and headlight assembly change after a fall.
Looking for a change to Yamaha FZ 16 or a little bit more powerful bike from Yamaha around Nov timeframe.
From 2002 onwards drive a car more than the bike but this will change shortly.

1994-Enfiled fury(Red)
1995-Royal Enfield Std. (Black)
1996-2005 - No bike
2006 till now - Honda Unicorn (Blue) Just driven 894 kms. only,bike is in immaculate condition as I drive cars now but have a knack to maintain my vehicles.

No new upgrade planned till yet only if any tempting bike is launched in the market I may consider buying it.

Got my first bike in 1999, a second hand Suzuki AX100, was one of the few guys in school who had a motorcycle, others were making do with Kinetic Hondas and the like. I obviously could not park inside though. Loved riding it on the outer ring road (no traffic back then). Looked very filmy though - lot of smoke and the bike in the middle. I used get so excited when the speedometer touched 80, would not go beyond that except if I was going downhill.

Got myself a Fiero in Sep 2000, felt like a king for some reason. Loved the noise everytime I decelerated. Highpoint was when I changed the rear tyres to 100/90 and got a 'fury' handle. Took it with me to college when I did my MBA (it was in Bangalore

but i stayed on campus) and there it became a sort of public property with everyone borrowing it and abusing it. Got it properly cleaned up after I finished. Used to love riding it, but now find something missing (keep blaming it on my back but thats not the case). Still use it to commute to office 3-4 days a week.

This Diwali I am planning to pick up the 2009 Pulsar 220 DTSi. Really excited about this. Waiting for a test drive this weekend.
