RE is definitely leaving no stones unturned. They're literally firing over and above on all cylinders. Pleased to see the family tree include an Enduro type for the new LC 450 Engine.

RE is on a juggernaut of a mission to disrupt the Indian biking scene with never before visualized variants here in India, a bold leap and for good.

Way to go RE.

Cheers!

This is great news no doubt.

But I cannot understand why RE refuses to create more engine variants of the base unit. Why not a 500cc single on the J series platform or an 800-850 variant of the current twin? RE has enough engineering prowess to bore larger capacities from current engines. There's already after market kits available in the market from various suppliers for 800+ bore kits for the 650.

Damn, that's an amazing visualisation, thanks for the work you put in! But it's just draining to wait for the faired variation of conti GT, (if it will ever happen that is).

Good day ,
Yes indeed, the big bore kits are available overseas and also as imports here with a good jump in power. I spoke to one bike mod workshop in Pune who does these kits and he said there are a few long term issues with the kits especially for Indian conditions.
One is heat management and bike would need a bigger oil cooler plus better braking as that type of cc puts the bike in the super-bike category in terms of cc. It will be interesting to have a 800 cc RE.

Thanks-

Royal Enfield is expanding its 650cc portfolio, and a leaked document suggests that a new 650cc adventure bike is on the cards.

Attachment 2384079

The document reveals the "Twins Platform family tree". It lists a third model besides the Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650. The silhouette clearly shows a new ADV bike.

Royal Enfield's new 650cc ADV could be a serious off-roader. It appears to be equipped with raised handlebars, long travel suspension, wire-spoke wheels, an engine bash plate and an upswept exhaust.

Attachment 2384080

The new Adventure bike is expected to be powered by the 648cc parallel-twin engine. In its current tune, the motor produces 46.2 BHP and 52 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The recently unveiled Super Meteor 650 is part of the same family of bikes. The new twin-cylinder cruiser is expected to be launched early next year. The launch timeline for the ADV, though, is still unclear.
