You are lucky. Both these parts are the same for the NV and the NV SPL and hence it is very easy to procure them. Coming to the engine, there is little that a 2 stroke engine needs other than a set of piston rings to get its mojo back coupled with a new spark plug and a new silencer.

Not both the parts. Only the nose is same in both the models. XE had slots for indicator and high beam (small square holes) but the NV did not have them. Not too sure about the NV SPL.

Bumping up a very old thread. So I have a LML Vespa Star ESPL. Can anyone tell me what does PL in ESPL stand for? I assume ES is for Electric start.
Also, I intend to restore it slowly, first make it functional and then do a factory restoration. Currently its in bad state since it was lying unused for about 7-8 years. Can someone provide contacts for parts.

I have both I'm planning to restore/ modernize/ get to working state.
