hey guys,

like i said before , im also lookin forward to moddin my avenger a little . . .
so could u guys please clarify these queries in detail ??

current mods are : ive added a security system and double horns .

1 : i want to put in a halogen lamp . will it screw up the battery ?? will the reflector have to be changed OR only the bulb ??

2 : wot has to be done EXACTLY to install a k&n filter ?? w2ill it reduce fuel efficiency ? does the exhaust note get better ?? effect on performance and top speed ?? correct method to install it ??

3 : want to put in a windshield . wot do u guys think will look better ?? a small one like " v12 "s or a large 1 ?

4 :very much want to install a neon tube underneath (not dumb leds ) . . wot exactly has to be done ?? how much ??

i was plannin to do a little moddin to my avenger . .

so please , all ur comments and suggestions are highly appreciated . . .

current mods : have added a remote security system with auto ignition and cutoff and added double horns .

1 :: i want to change my current headlamp to halogen . . will it screw up the battery ? also , will i have to change the reflector base OR only the bulb ??

2 :: want to install a k&n filter . . will i have to change the mixture ratios ?? please explain in detail . . also , wot effect will it have on my top speed and performance in genaral ?? will the exhaust note sound heavier ? also, wot will be the rop in fuel figures ??

3 :: and i want to add a windshield . wot do u think looks better ?? a small one like " v 12 "s or a full fairing ??

4 :: also , the best yet ! i want to install a neon tube on the underbody ( not dumb L.E.Ds ) . . anybody got any idea bot how its done , please let me know . . cause i cant get anyone to do it in my area .

all commments and suggestions are welcome . please feel free to do so . .

Mine came with Halogens! And it should be halogens for you too.

also , does anybody know any shops that stock NEON sticks ( tubes , not led brackets ) ?? i reside in chennai . . n have tried G.P road and also , pudupet . . . . no luck !!

dude even i wanted some mods on my bike but for now i'l thinking about adding a Bullet Handel (gives it a wider look) and also want to get a nice saddel bag.

OCC????????????????????????????????? I don't think OCC build such "Tame" bikes.

Halogen is good for foggy conditions man, Stick with the stock one or get a HID set up. Expensive but worth it if you got the moolah.

K&N's and upjetting. Search for the topic on the forum. Its been talked about for ages and is the first question that gets asked by noobies. If you don't find the information your looking for, PM me.

Wind sheilds, neon lights - not my cup of tea. More go than show for me. Wait for someone else to post about the same.

hows it going ??

ive finally decided to chuck the windshield plan in favor of sexy new handelbar . . .
i got quite a few awesome design ideas but implementation is the problem . . .on the same line , TO ALL YOU CHENNAITES , does anybody know any guys in chennai who do custom handlebars ?? lemme know please . . .

thats it fer now . . . .
