Buy the Figo Blu and wrap those tacky blue inserts with carbon fiber or gloss black wraps. You get good features on Blu and looks closer to the Figo S. If you are planning to invest in cobra springs or Figo S setup, then I suggest why not go for a Freestyle Titanium? It has a better design, more desirable and practical.

The Figo TDCI looks like an excellent option for enthusiasts. Of course you will need to do a few upgrades:
- Nicer wheels (Freestyle one are a nice option).
- Better Tyres.
- Lowering Springs (From the Figo S or aftermarket ones like Cobra or Eibach).
- A nice android HU.
- Chrome Delete for the Titanium / Sticker & Blue Delete for the Blu.
- Stage I Remap.

I would suggest you go with the Titanium Blu model. Chiefly because of the following reasons:

1. Auto-AC (Ford strikes; this was present earlier on Titanium)
2. 6 airbags (structural strength matters more, but two extra airbags definitely gives more peace of mind)
3. Touch-screen ICE (Ford strikes again)
4. Rear parking camera (and again)
5. Rear washer + wiper (and again)
6. Front fog lamps (and again)

I think with the number of features Ford has removed from the Titanium version,
I should count my blessings I bought the Titanium model just in time.

I reckon you'll be keeping this vehicle for a long time, so might as well get the fully-loaded version. I suggest you go with the tyre change (at least upgrade to a fatter rubber) and the Blu decal removal as soon as you purchase your vehicle.

My two cents!

The current Titanium is actually the old base model. I wonder what the Ambiente has less than the Titanium which is already barebones.

Seems logical.

Couple of weeks back, I walked into Ford dealership and enquired regarding this. The dealer was absolutely clear that there is no possibility of the automatic variant coming this year (This is contrary to Ford support on Twitter which says the launch will happen this year). Another update is that the Titanium Blu manual variant has a waiting period of atleast 60 days, so definitely there seems to be some slowness from Ford side regarding Figo and Aspire.

The same 2 month waiting period is there even for Freestyle, for which I had made an enquiry recently. I was told that the Figo and Freestyle, not being high sellers , are made on order and therefore a lond lead time before delivery. On the other hand the EcoSport waiting period was quoted as one month tops if the colour and model is not already in stock.

Been waiting for the Figo/Freestyle AT to launch in its BS6 Avatar for quite some time now as I would want to have a Ford in our lives after selling off the first gen Figo. (Wifey can't drive manual :-( )
So I head over to Ford website and what do I see, the Figo page is no longer there!

The optimist in me wants to believe this is because they are updating the page lol:

The page is back online now.

My Figo will turn 5 by Jan 2021, car has run about 80k. After initial warranty expired, I have made it a point to purchase annual extended warranty since the usage was higher.

I am keen to know , if Ford will offer warranty for sixth year ?

You can avail anytime warranty from Ford. I recently paid ₹15k for the 6th year extended warranty as my Aspire went out of warranty after completing 5 years this month.

Can you please share the terms of the that 6th year warranty as what's included & what's not.

Mine (Aspire TDCi 2017 BS4) is nearing its 4th year (presently under 2+3 extended warranty) so I was wondering if I can, I will purchase that 6th year before Ford guys change their mind & discontinue it.

Thanks

Dear both , thanks for your response.

This link however does not have any mention of period beyond 5th year and my SA indicates same (however promised to check and revert) . I hope the warranty you are referring is not some kind of dealer specific arrangement.

The contract certificate clearly states that the plan has been issued by ‘Ford India Private Limited’ and the product name is ‘FEATW0-FEATW0 Ford Any Time Warranty’. I took this from Cauvery Ford, Bengaluru. Hope this helps.

Hi Thilak29, Ford does provide an official 6th year warranty termed Anytime Warranty.
I have recently availed of the same for my 5 year (completed on 2nd December) Tdci Aspire ;however the dealer will do a complete checkup and an OBD diagnostics before issuing one.
For the Aspire, its Rs 15000.
Hope you can avail of the same.
