Try changing the mode or source of music to Bluetooth or something else. It may get stopped by that.

I have been looking to buy a SUV in the 20-30L and have shortlisted the Harrier. However, I find the response from Kropex really really poor. All that they wanted to know is when you are booking and thats it. I walked into the Sarjapur Rd showroom on sat and they said the test drive vehicle is at their head office - and then no follow up. The KIA and Nexa guys were really good in providing test drives and follow up. Need to check with Hyundai next.

I am wondering if this is the attitude of Tata during sales, how the service will be.

I had a very different and pleasant experience with the KHT motors in Brookefields. Gave me an extended test drive with no push for a booking even when I indicated I am still exploring.

Well, looks like Kropex is a monopoly in this part of the town. I stay in HSR and there is only Kropex in Hosur Road, Koramangala and Sarjapur Road.

The call disconnect button on the steering wheel stops audio( whichever source you are in, doesn't matter ).

I would suggest you try Prerana Motors in BTM Layout. They are much better than Kropex when it comes to customer relations.

Is the "left pulling" issue still present in the new Harriers? I do not see that being mentioned anywhere in the recent post, so wondering if that is an issue people have learnt to live with or has TATA fixed it.

They started fixing the issue by "sub frame shifting" method. It resolves the issue. Moreover, left pull issue was there in some cars and it wasn't in some but off late even i haven't heard anyone complaining about it.

I know it's a week old question that you posted:

Price-wise, and comfort-wise, I would go for 16R's for a SUV. But Harrier doesnt have 16R's. 18R cost a bit. Suggest to call the shops and check the exact price.

Btw, what name have you decided for your Harrier :p. Hope all the names that people come out with has given you some ideas by now.

Isn't the boot tray a standard fitment?

Got back to Thrissur from Chennai today and I have crossed 2000 KMS. Still getting used to the car, the last 20 days have seen about 2300 KMS. The beeps that I complained about in my earlier post seem to be mobile notifications. The car is easy enough to maneuver around in the city too, however if my destination does not have proper parking, I try and find alternate means to get there.

I also got new Mats installed over the weekend. Respectable figures for a heavy SUV in the MID but the delta between tankful method & MID is a little too much for my liking. In my earlier car the S cross, the MID used to be reliable, the variance between indicated figure and the figure computed using tankful would be around 0.2 to 0.5 KMPL. Here I'm getting a difference of about 2KMPL.

Parcel tray is but boot tray which covers the boot floor isn't. You have to get it installed. I found it to be handy since I have a dog who sheds heavily I can just take the tray out clean it and place it back inside.

Thanks, can you share a picture if possible? Is this different from the 3D boot Mats that TATA sells for almost Rs.4k?

How are these mats? They look good. How much did you pay for them?

I bought the boot mat (HiArt - Rs. 2200) and floor mats (UrbanLifestylers - Rs. 4700) from Amazon. The quality is pretty good. The dealer would give you the same mats for 50-100% cost increase.

The mats feel good however it is too early to say anything. I picked it up from an accessory shop in Chennai for 6k. This is velcro type and sticks to the OEM carpet.

Check the manufacturer website here

Usual caveat, no kind of association with them whatsoever, proceed at your own risk.

About damage to OEM carpets, I'm not sure. I believe all 7D mats work this way.

Won't this damage the OEM carpet over a period of time?
