This is the best setup I have seen so far. Congratulations!
Did you also use the Proman 32mm spacer ?

Yes, I had to use spacers. 1inch spacers from Proman.

Don't have a Roxx and no plans to buy one in the near future but just wanted to say these all 3 alloy/tyre combinations look 11/10. clap:

Man! I love those rims, I wish these were available in 18inch.

BTW, I've been told that the Plati 023 is a direct fit, but since I'm using stock tires (255/65/R18), the 9J and -10 ET is not ideal. So I either have to upgrade the tires to 265 or wait it out.

Fuel Rebel 5 is available in 18" but offset is positive so requires a spacer again. 17" and 20" are direct fitment.

255 width tyres will accommodate a 9J rim, you shouldn't face any issues. Try mounting one or both front rims and confirm.

Just saw an Instagram post where John Abraham took delivery of his customised Thar Roxx. Looks like it's based on the AX7L D AT 4x4 Mocha Interiors. A thing to note is the addition of Keyless entry (Push Button Start being available from MX1, but had to be opened from the key for all variants). Does anyone know of this recent feature addition or the feature has been added for just John's Thar?

I think those who receive deliveries after April will get this additional feature.

Which tire did you choose for the 20"? Also, is it 9J and ET10 on the Fuel Rebel 5 for the 20" setup? Yes, the 255 will accommodate a 9J rim, but with ET-10, I've been told it's not recommended.

As per PowerDrift, there are three updates to the Thar Roxx (mass market variant(s)):

Maxxis Razr AT
9J and ET1 as far as I recall, it was mentioned on the box.

I am not sure how offset and tire width have to do with each other, what is the reason you are being told?

I was told that 9J is the maximum one could use with the stock tires, and adding negative offset would only cause more protrusion and a harsher ride, especially on potholes/bad roads, which could damage the rims.

I was told that a better setup would be 8.5J or 9J with zero or positive offset for stock tires. Again, I am unsure if this is true and if it has any impact.

  • A sliding co-driver armrest, similar to the drive-side armrest.
  • Tweaks to the wipers arm and blades to enhance aerodynamics, as per PowerDrift.

Absolutely crucial additions based on my month long ownership. Sliding co-driver armrest should be an easy retrofit as should the wiper arms & blades.

The driver footwell is quite cramped and the right side front door sill feels too close to the driver.
Three more updates can be considered to improve the driver-footwell room.
- Narrow the width of the center console plastic, make it sleeker so that it doesn't brush against the driver's left leg.
- Tweak the floor design to liberate some needed legroom to accomodate a dead pedal.
- Reposition the driver seat a bit to the left so that its not so close to the right door.

Also review and reposition the ABC pedals so that they are not too close to each other.
All in all, the Roxx is a bit cramped in terms of space, they could have made the cabin space of the Roxx a bit more larger (atleast as much as the Scorpio-N). After all space a critical luxury factor.

Looks amazing Manveet :thumbs up
Would suggest getting the taillights smoked. Not completed black but just a hint of a darker shade would look great. Happy driving!

Will we get this upgrade on all newly manufactured cars, or only in some special edition?
