My delivery date is April to May, so I hope to receive the new interiors then. Sometimes, waiting is beneficial. lol:

Just for the sake of clarity, Haven't you opted for the Mocha Brown Interior variant in the first place while booking or have you changed to the Mocha Brown Interior variant later?

As far as I know, the variants themselves are named AX5L Diesel AT 4WD Mocha Interiors and AX7L Diesel AT 4WD Mocha Interiors.

I booked an AX7L 4WD with a white interior on the first day of booking at 11:10 am, hoping to receive delivery in 2024, but my delivery date is set for April 8.

After speaking to a few dealers, I have confirmed direct fitment only for Fuel Rebel 5 (17", 20"). Excluding brands like Neo, Plati etc

One dealer offered 18" Momo Seven as a direct fit, this may need to be confirmed via a second opinion.

I spoke to a few dealers as well. I've been told a few models of Wilcrox and GTR Pro are direct fit, but I don't want to risk these.

Plati PY 023 is the one that I've been told is a direct fitment, but since there is only on order, i can't confirm verify this. I saw someone here also mentioned that they installed Plati and didn't have any problems, but that was 20-inch, so I'm not sure if tire size would make a difference.

If alloy width and offset are same, it will fit, diameter is unimportant.

Width and offset are the same, he said something about the sidewall having more circumference. His quote's below:

"20" is better upsize in terms of circumference vis a vis original 19" vs 18" which has more sidewall with more circumference"

Suggest you read this article (https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/tyre-...ffset-etc.html)
to understand better the different terms, alloy width is the width of the alloy as implied. Offset is the distance between the mounting hub and the wheel centreline.

Sidewall is in relation to the tyre, not the alloy.

Will be getting the doors and boot damped. During my Roxx TD, had measured sound level inside with a sound decibel meter. Was less than the seltos diesel (damped).

Is it really necessary to damp it further? Just asking because during the test drive, I was very impressed with the stock NVH damping, even for the diesel.

#Storage- Continues to be a royal challenge!. The bottle holders next to drivers seat are quite narrow and shallow. Door pockets are weirdly shaped.

Yes, it is quite unfortunate. How did you manage this?

Glad to read this, since I had dreaded this would be a deal-breaker given the tall BoF structure. I guess the white interiors, high roof height and panoramic sunroof also contribute to the airy feel that prevents motion sickness!

Speedometer view is changed from the older one. Attaching a pic below, can somebody verify the same who have got the Software update.

Wow that new speedometer looks fantastic! It is good to see a slight differentiation from the tachometer as well, especially during quick glances.

That is excellent news! Hope this is true, as it will address one of the major pain points of the new Roxx without going for the Mocha brown that is available only on the 4x4 variants.

Mahindra should clarify whether the seat material used for Mocha interiors in Thar Roxx is same as the one in Scorpio-N or is different to make buyers comfortable. Nobody has seen Mocha interior in-person to indicate is the seat material soft or same as Scorpio-N one.

XUV700 and Roxx both have white interiors, but the XUV uses a leatherette material that is easier to keep clean. This is what is coming to the Roxx, if I read it correctly.

On the other hand, Mahindra has not claimed that the Scorpio-N material is coming to the Roxx, despite both being Mocha Brown (for the 4x4 variants). If the material is not changed, then the brown on the Roxx is still going to get soiled faster than the Big Daddy Scorpio.

By the way, I am really happy to see Mahindra listening to it's fans! This is the right way to engage and retain customers!

Thanks for sharing that, I've checked the dimensions, and confirm that the 20 inch and 18inch Alloy have the same -10 ET, so ideally shouldn't have any issues.

You can find out something related to your questions. Someone uploaded a video on the Insta. According to him the Plati PY 023 both 18" and 19" he has with him. This video shows the the 20".

I remember you making modifications to your uncle's MX3 variant. Was it the Plati alloy you went with? How happy are you with the alloys? You said 1.5-inch offset; I thought it was more like -10 ET?

What Mahindra people are smoking. Why this change only affects AX7L and nothing else. How someone calls this "listening to customer"? This is absurd and simply idiotic from M. Giving an interior that's is dirt magnet and then changing it in only top variants. Isn't this simply nonsensical? Just give a grey interior to all the lower variants and call it a day. Just with a stupid white interior you're trying to force buyers to go for top end variants? This is getting into my nerves really. :unhappy

If this is true, it honestly leaves a false taste in mouth. Feeling like us, people who helped build the hype and booked first were treated like Guinea pigs by Mahindra. Earlier they were hellbent that white interiors in this car aren’t a bad idea and now finally admitting their mistake. Guess I’ve no option left but reupholster the seats but even then I don’t want the roof liner touched, can’t see the new car being taken apart like that so that will remain a dust magnet.

Got my Roxx yesterday from Meridian Moto, Alappuzha, Kerala. its MX3 P AT version, Tango Red colour. Changed the steel rims to company alloys and installed JKTT TPMS for CAR (link https://thereliablecompany.in/product/jktreel-tpms/) .

TPMS works flawlessly and as the TPMS is connected with phone over bluetooth, there is no need to open the car to check tyre pressure status and alerts. Apple car play (Wired) working smoothly.

Photos of the Roxx MX3 P AT with new company alloys. Need to update the fog lamp also once Mahindra can unlock the fog switch of the vehicle. Can anyone suggest a better way around.

Nice! Congratulations on the purchase.

Did you instal the TPMS at the showroom itself?
