Similar experience here and I had shared that earlier on the forum as well. People who are lucky are able to get their cars on time, unlucky ones are at the mercy of Mahindra and their respective dealers. |
Well, I’ll wait for an update from them today. If even Mahindra accepts that it was an error on their end and I’ll get delivery next year-end, then I’ll cancel the booking. No point waiting for so long for a car. Earlier, I was also considering 3XO when Roxx had not launched. But if Mahindra (itself or its dealers) tries to pull off these shenanigans with me then I am definitely not even buying 3XO. Will look for some other car.

Going by your booking ID, you should get your car by December/ January max.
One pattern is clear, only some selected lucky AX7Ls are being delivered, M&M is completely struggling with AX7L versions, even more so with AX7L 4x4. Dealers are also acknowledging that top versions are almost non-existent. Almost all dealers have AX5, MX5 is stock for ready delivery!, AX7L they themselves have barely delivered 2-3 cars since launch.
Your dealer maybe just talking considering the pattern for AX7L deliveries, which are non-existent so far.

GM of the dealer said my tentative date of delivery as per
his system is year-end 2025. So clearly it’s not what Mahindra says. Per the email I got from Mahindra, my tentative delivery date is this month. So I would assume the GM to be playing some games here. Had it been an executive, I would have assumed lack of information and hence not be much concerned. But this is coming from GM of the dealer and that has me concerned.

Congratulations on the Roxx.
As you said that "Thigh support could have been better", can you please compare it with other cars like ScorpioN/XUV700 or any other vehicle so that I can understand how bad it is ??
Also, regarding the ride quality, how would you rate it against ride of say Scorpio N (specially at highway speeds) ?
Thanks in advance

ScorpioN has better overall lumbar and thigh support. Creta seats are comfortable and have better underthigh support but when I sat inside Roxx after Creta, I felt the seats hug me better. I never sat inside xuv700 so I don't know about this vehicle.
Comparing my MX3 to ScorpioN W4, on a flat highway ride is similar. Roxx has improved Chasis, ScorpioN has slightly better insulation, and both vehicles have similar steering and all discs. So I guess itl come down to which feel / interiors do you prefer as a driver and a Co passenger.
MX3 P AT is also cheaper and more feature rich than similar W4 by over lakh and a half so do these differences add upto 1.5L? That's a no from me
But frankly I could be biased because of the massive improvement in ROXX compared to 3D and the fact that I own this vehicle.

Any info on what spec alloys are used? |
Have asked Proman to share details. Can you find out what will be the right torque for wheel bolts?
As requested, I am sharing the photos of mods that I have done on MX3 D AT.
1. GFX Mats including Boot Space Mat. Quality is good. Fit is perfect too. I have used GFX mats in my 3D Thar also. I am satisfied.
2. Changed 4 speakers. Now installed all 4 Morel MK II coaxials.
3. I had 8 inch Kicker subwoofer and amplifier already. Now we tried to be little creative in making enclosure for the subwoofer. Took inspiration from AX7L subwoofer placement. Very satisfied with placement and fit. No wastage of boot space in this way. We did damping on the inside behind the plastic panel on which subwoofer enclosure is mounted via screws.
Amplifier has been installed below the rear seats.
4. GTR Fog Lamps. The update regarding Fog Lamps on MX3 is that the current version of Mahindra Flashing Software is not able to unlock fog lamp switch. I am writing this from the service center. They too don't have full information regarding it yet. Nor they have original Fog Lamps in their accessory or body shop yet. So for the time being I will have to live with Fog Lamps being driven from Park Lights only.
5. I have managed to get a good deal for 19 inch AX7L model Alloy Wheels and Tyres from a Tyre Shop in Ludhiana. I paid net 50k for 5 alloys and Ceat Crossdrive tyres after deducting MRF wanderer 4 tyres 18 inch.

Yes. I tried another shop, he said the best he can do was 80k. Though his were absolutely brand new just 10 km run.
The one I got were driven 3000 km already though.
The tyre tread measuring gauge didn't show any significant wear so I was fine with them.
Has anyone who made a booking recently received a tentative date of delivery? I booked MX3 P AT a week ago and haven't received any update so far. The dealership seems clueless and has conveyed that the waiting period is 72 weeks for all models.

I request any MX5/AX5/AX7 owner to kindly share the clear photo of right stalk/indicator lever that has switches for headlights, park lights, fog lights, auxiliary lights. I need to check whether this part is same in MX3 also or there is any difference.

I too have been keen to install original Mahindra front fog lamps on my MX3 (yet to be received) and have been researching a bit. After having spent some time with Mahindra spare parts team who were kind enough to show me the parts catalogue for various Roxx variants, it appears there is no wiring harness provided in the front bumper in MX3 variant. However, in higher variants with factory fitted front fog lamps, there should be a wiring harness and my quest was to identify which part number that is, whether it is available to purchase and most importantly, can it be used in MX3 to power-up the front fog lamp - this is the bit that I haven't been able to find out for sure, although, attached is a pic from the catalogue which shows a "front bumper wiring harness" and the corresponding part number. Note, this is shown for AX7L variant. The front bumper should at least have wiring harness that supports fog lights, front parking sensors and the radar for ADAS. In the picture, it isn't clear what all this harness is meant for and whether it can be used for the front fog lights. Anyway, it has been very challenging to find out what should have been a very simple thing. The service technicians are very unclear about the Roxx at the moment and I reckon trainings are still in-progress or yet to happen.
It is also a bit strange that MX3 variant have the dedicated button on the right stalk lever to switch on and switch off the front fog lights, however, there is no provision to connect the fog lights.

Is this part not there for the mx5 ? That is the base with fogs lamps and no Adas?
Looking to the same to mine...I had asked them to do it before delivery but they didn't have the lamps in stock back then. Will check again whenever I go for the first service. Thank you for all the help, very informative.
I am confused about the
Bottom Door Cladding accessory. The conflict is between aesthetics and protection. The car looks better without the cladding.
Considering, the footboard which is protruding outside, protecting the body, is just below the cladding. Would this cladding provide any meaningful protection in traffic?
