Got the PPF film installed recently. Not at all satisfied with the finishing. The film on the C cup area is clearly visible from a distance. Also the PPF film doesn't protect the door edges. Even a small bruising with a hard surface is tearing apart the film. I'm not sure how PPF works/protects but this was my experience.

That is surprising indeed,

If you don't mind can you share the picture of your Jetta with the PPF's?!

Here you go, i totally forgot about your post. As you can see in the pics below, not at all satisfied with the finish.

I Spoke to Arun, he said he will try his best on what he can do on this. He words were not reassuring when he said the look and feel cannot be changed. It was them who made it ugly in the first place. Lets see what they will do about it.

Depends on the car. I went there today for my Polo and it costed me Rs.390 (+service tax). My friend has a Brio, and it costed him around Rs. 326 (+service tax).

My City is dirty as hell after my recent trip to Ooty. Since there is a water scarcity at my place, couldn't clean her well, except for buffing her with Jopasu. I am thinking of giving a exterior and interior cleaning for my car. Recently noticed there are lots of swirls on the sides and bonnet. Not to mention scratch marks on bonnet and sides and nail marks in the door handle area. What kind of treatment will take care of all these things? There are quite a lot of kids in my apartment and I am worried these could arise again.
Is a prior appointment needed to visit 3M on a Sunday?
Also is there any other shop where I can visit for the same. I stay in Kukatpally and work in Gachibowli.

They have a full exterior treatment that will take care of the slight scratches and swirls. It costs around 5k or so (might be more for a sedan). Unfortunately, they don't have a treatment for the kids .

Yes, a prior appointment is advisable. Arun, the manager there, told me that Fri, Sat and Sun are reserved for those who have taken the annual package with 3M. So if you want to go there, you might have to go on a working day. I'll PM you his number anyways.

5k is so steep. How about just a wash exterior and interior, PPF for door handles and removal of swirls?

I am pretty sure that it was around 5k. But please call them to confirm.

Sorry, I don't remember the rates for the PPF now. Maybe others who got this done can comment with the price..

Hi,

I am visiting 3M Madhapur now for a regular foam wash. They charge around 450 for the same and do a decent job overall.

PPF around for edges and door handle recess did cost me 1500 in total. I have also done Pair sealant treatment when the Swift was new and IIRC was charge Rs 3696.

I am planning for the regular foam wash. Hope it includes the interior vacuum clean too. Can you confirm?
How much is the PPF only on the door handle scuffs?
How much time will it take for completing these 2?

I guess they do interior vacuuming too.

PPF only for door handle recess is Rs~750.

Time for these two could be an hour depending on work load and your car.
