Thats a small price you have to pay to persue your dream you've been chasing for years.

The Bug has been bugging me since i was 13 yrs of age.

I could only accomplish it after 12 yrs
Hello Pavan you have lived your dream! Hats off to you for being able to restore such a car which was in a really bad shape.

Your car indeed looks very good. The restoration thing has been done top-notch and all the details taken care.

Re: My 1967 1500cc VW Beetle - Restoration done

Hi Pavan... I bumped into this thread yesterday and I would say what a delight it was to read through 39 pages yesterday night and since it was one shot read, I could see the car coming to life from scrap and slowly getting all original parts over the last decade. What a fantastic read
I found it difficult to accept that the car went to repaint and body work yet again inspite of being in such good shape but later realized it was 10 years hence. I am in luv with your car now and hats off to your passion, perseverance and commitment.
Take a bow !!

Hi Pavan ,

That's lot of passion and commitment in restoring this yellow beauty Pavan.

I am starting to love this Beetle beauty and it is tempting. I may not be surprised if I start looking out for a Beetle to start a restoration, now that the restoration of my 1955 Fiat Millecento is nearly over.

In fact we did speak to each other nearly a year ago when I started the Fiat restoration Pavan - The Crazy Doctor from Coimbatore

Anyway wonderful job Pavan, keep it up !

Re: My 1967 1500cc VW Beetle - Restoration done

Dear Friends,

I am restoring my 67 Beetle. I am stuck for want of the '66 '67 wheel rims. I am in need of at least one if not two. I will be deeply obliged if I could get it or know from where to get it from.
Cheerio
