There are two green V8 Mustang's in Bangalore, the other is Doc's.
But one could always try to get a pic.

Cheers Harit

I guess this is the car from cochin? There was a white 65(?) here, which was owned by a famous film producer. But he fell on harder times, and sold off the car. It was a direct import. The car was spotted some time back at a bangalore rally, wearing a dark green paint. It bears a KRE regn if i'm not mistaken.

Hello iceman91,
The car you are talking about is a 1971 V-8, ex Mumbai car. We are talking about fastbacks like the 1st pic in this thread, the 'Bullit" type of cars. I have seen this car in Mumbai and Bangalore.

About a white Cochin car I have no idea. Doc's car came from Hyderabad, where that guy got it from I do not know. Will try to check. But probably it was not a fastback, the white one.

No sweat iceman, this is a common mix up. Some consider the 1971 Mustang to be a fastback, it does have a sloping back, but we are referring to the 1st series only.

Cheers Harit

Here are 3 Mustangs in Bangalore including Khoday's and the KRE green cars, to help clear doubts.

OOOps. This IS a fastback, now that we see the picture. This is pre 1970. Is this Khoday's car? Anyway, there are now 3 fastbacks in India. I hope that Ajmat was referring to this car, then he was right in the 1st place.
Did you notice, there are 2 different green Mustangs, KRE and DDD. The latter seems to be Doc's car.

That is what is so nice about this forum, quick confirmations/replies at low cost. And education along the way. And no bad blood spilled!
Cheers

Minor corrections.
KRE went to Hyderabad, V8 engine, now with Doc.
DDD is Khoday car. Is it also V8?
Golden Fastback, now where did this come from? It has original Karnataka registration. Lovely car!

And sold on to Doc.
Meanwhile I learnt that the golden fastback is a local car belongiong to some folks owning a machining workshop or so.

There is a fastback being restored in Bangalore, to modern specs. No expense has been spared, from a crated V8 to custom wheels and massive front and rear brakes. Painting should have finished by now.
