I am personally very familiar with this car - it literally gave me few heart stopping moments in Trivandrum during college days.:) - 1977-81
An elder in my family used to own an Amby of then exact same colour of this car and had registration number KRT 5678. Often at moments you don't want to be caught by some one in the family I mistook KRT 5673 to be the one with my family and had to take evasive action
Its easy to mistake the 3 for 8 :Frustrati
Both were from June-July 1977. Almost 1st lot of Mark III in Trivandrum

A documentary made by my friend and photographer Deepanjan Sarkar on Ambassadors. Although most of it is in Bengali as it was made in Kolkata, subtitles should help understand the narration. He hopes to make another documentary once he can arrange proper funding. Hope you like it. please:

Sir, curious to know what's the status of your Amby's restoration? Knowing how perfectionist Mr. Gopal is, I am sure your Amby will be the best ones around. Hope Mr. Gopal's health is better too now.

As I know Gopal is not yet back in Bangalore and probably not coming back any time soon.
Frankly, I was hoping something positive but at the moment nothing is looking up due to covid issues.
I don't know when and to where I can go. It's really a depressing situation now.
